Lodge Cast Iron Rectangular Griddle - 11.5 x 7.75 Inches

Nice small griddle. Pre-seasoned, yay! Practical and will probably pay for itself in reduced fuel usage. I do wish there was one just a bit longer. You can only find around 12 inches. Next size up is 19 inches.

Such a handy size with so many uses from grilled sandwiches to grilled scallops! It’s pre-seasoned but careful initial use of heat further seasons it so nothing sticks, not even eggs!

I bought this to go alongside my induction cooker. Generally speaking, most cast iron products are gonna hit the mark because well, it's cast iron. It's a time-honored tool used to cook everything from breakfast to the world's greatest steaks. This one in particular is a favorite. It's big enough to host a pretty large cut of meat, yet small enough to maneuver in my tight kitchen. It heats up particularly fast, and I'm just one person cooking for myself so I find it's the right size to fill up with food and have a feast. Best of all, it's a Lodge so it's affordable, high-quality and comes PRE-SEASONED. That last bit is huge. I love this thing. You can really take this thing wherever. I'm planning to have steak and eggs atop a mountain some day and I'll be bringing this thing along no questions asked. I imagine it'd fit right into any camping gear setup you can think of. And it's made in America if that's a thing that catches your attention. Great product, low price, made by neighbors. Can't argue with that.

I love this little griddle! A few years ago I got rid of my aluminum baking pans and replaced them with stainless steel pans. The stainless pans made me happy with the variety of sizes but the bigger ones tend to warp in the oven and we've used aluminum foil because they aren't easy to clean which defeated the purpose of the change over. I've avoided cast iron in my oven because of the weight. This seems to have solved my problem. It's small enough for what I need, light enough that I don't worry about getting it in and out of the oven, it doesn't warp and I don't need to use foil to keep the clean up easy. I love this so much, I'm going to get at least one more. I also ordered the larger one and I'm so excited about changing over to these great versatile pans!! BTW, I also bought Lodge cast iron pie pans which are amazing and make my pies look even more beautiful!

Love this little griddle! We have small Weber gas grill, this griddle allows me to turn large griddle vertical and keep foods separated.

This my first Amazon review. The platter is great. A typical Lodge product - well done, feels good in your hands, looks good on the grill. But the shipping is something that detracts from a full five star rating is the shipping cost compared to the quality of packaging. I paid $8.50 for shipping. Not an unreasonable amount, even though it was two-thirds of the cost. But when I received the package, I was shocked at the haphazard packaging. Considering this is cast iron, and cast iron is known to be brittle, wouldn't you expect a cast iron platter to be well cushioned for shipping? Not these guys. They just took a box, put the platter in at an angle because the box wasn't even large enough to lay flat, and sent it out. I'm still surprised that the platter actually arrived in one piece. If I could, I'd attach a pic of the platter in the box just so you all could see it to believe it. Other than that, I really like the platter.

Got a couple of these to use on my grills. The size fits perfectly on the minimax big green egg, which is the same size grate as a small BGE or Kamado joe junior. If you’ve got a larger grill, of course they’ll also work great. I’ve attached picture in the minimax with and without the grate in place. They also for fine on the CGS woo. Have used for meatloaf, a whole roasted chicken where I wanted to capture drippings, as a. Griddle for five guys style hot dogs, grilling onions, roasting vegetables - all with excellent results. The first one fit so well and worked so well I immediately ordered another.

I bought a Lodge CI baking pan but it is too big for my toaster oven and counter oven. So I was on Amazon looking for a smaller size and found this. This is like the griddle for sizzling hot plate steak, egg, and spaghetti I used to eat at night market in my motherland. This plate is the perfect size for 1 or 2. I can use it in oven and on gas stove top. I can use it while camping. It can go directly from heat source to table (use a wood cutting board as trivet). Be careful with sudden temperature change because this is thinner thus may crack. Edit: I have been using it in my toaster oven at least 3 times a week baking salmon fillets, chicken meat, or reheating beef roast. It is a champ. I don't know how i ever live without this to be honest.

After going through a couple of toaster ovens which became grease-laden, I wanted to keep the new one clean as possible. Using aluminum foil troubled me so I used a glass bakewear. But using glass also posed baked in grease challenges. I looked at my cast iron pan but obviously didn’t fit so I went looking and found this beauty! I use it ALL THE TIME. Things like fries cook up well and I never have to worry about grease dripping. One of the best purchases of my life!

Quality made and I'll tell you why from my experience. First.. the ridiculous delivery driver tossed my package to my backdoor step, I couldn't believe it. I didn't see it, but I heard it hit the ground and without a doubt was from a toss. Second reason... the terrible packaging... a box and the pan that shakes around in the box. The pan itself, thankfully is in perfect condition and I like it a lot. Cooking surface length - 8.75" Cooking surface width on both ends - 5.5" that gradually widens from both ends to 6.25" in the center.

Used this for air frying sausages and they were amazing!!! Very happy with this purchase. Excited to try steaks on it next

This sized "chef's platter" was no where to be found.I periodically look for this sized Lodge cast iron plate because I have owned one for 5 years now,and it's great.The 11.6" x 7.75" fits into my counter top oven perfectly,now BOTH fit inside at the same time. It's ideal for searing on the stove,then transferring into the oven to finish. Recently made these beef medallions using this method via help from the Food Network after ruining the first attempt.I've used them now to roast vegetables along side a protein on the other plate. Stove top duck breast cooks up nicely. BBQ, it can take the heat to make a variety of foods. Minus a star because the platter delivered with that ruse,and blemish. I sprayed it with coconut oil to season it even though Lodge doesn't need it. It now appears fine.
