Very sturdy
Easy to fill & hang. It’s always filled with birds, very sturdy and the clear plastic makes it easy to see if it needs filling. I would recommend this feeder. It’s not squirrel or bear resistant so if you have these animals you will need to hang it higher up out of their reach.

Great seed feeder for small wild birds
I purchased a set of two of these tube feeders. The price was very good from the Gray Bunny seller. I received them very quickly, actually a day sooner than expected. I’m very happy with the feeders so far. I’ve only had them out for about three days, but the goldfinches are flocking to them! The feeders appear well-made, and the copper-tone finish is very nice. I have two hanging from a tall bird feeder pole and so far no problems with sneaky squirrels. The size is sufficient, and it’s easy to see the feed levels. I have no complaints about the feeders and would recommend these as very good feeders from a very good seller.

Good product but should be beefed up by buyers
This feeder is functional and seems to be pretty durable except for the metal top. In addition, it is not squirrel-proof.The wind blew mine down and fell about 6 feet while empty. The metal top, which is only spot welded on to the piece that screws onto the tube body, broke away, but was easily repaired using Gorilla Clear Grip. If I buy another one, I would use Clear Grip to make it less likely the top would ever break off. This feeder is not squirrel-proof. Full-grown squirrels can climb onto the feeder from the top because the cable is too short and squirrels can hang onto the bird rests. I will try to extend the hanging length using monofilament fishing line, and, if that doesn't work, hang the feeder under a cover (available on Amazon) that squirrels can't hang on to.

Very good feeders for small birds
These feeders work very well for small birds. There was no assembly and they are easy to clean and fill. They lasted through one winter but are starting to rust so I don't know if they will last through another. They are lightweight so if there is a very high wind they can be blown off a straight hanger. All in all, they are very good feeders and well worth the money.

Nicely made!
The only problem I noticed was the birds were not using it since I got it. After a few days, I took a drill and widened the holes to match the height- the opening was now round and not oval. I ensured the holes were smooth after enlarging them to be round and by afternoon I had many happy birds eating from it. The Niger seeds did not leak out of my amended holes. I was so happy I am going to purchase another one exactly like it! It is a wonderful feeder IMO and will keep the seeds dry when it is wet out! UPDATE: Birds are flocking to this feeder so I ordered another one! This time, I am going not drill the holes and compare usage. If I end up drilling the holes later again, I will only enlarge slightly and not round as they are gorging themselves! The seeds stay inside well and stay dry when it rained. I LOVE this feeder as much as all the beautiful birds!

Great for small birds only
It was, overall, easy to fill. My small birds love it and the squirrels are grumpy. My biggest problem is that I have a mated cardinal pair whom I adore and they’re too tall to eat out of it. They have been quite vocal to me about their frustrations. Same for my other larger-sized birds. I wish the pegs and holes were varied in height for different sized birds.

Affordable and effective bird feeder
Overall, a good feeder. It's easy to fill and looks nice. When full of seeds, I get 6 birds on the feeder at the same time. I am unsure of the squirrel protection. Got my first squirrel once I got this feeder (after 15+ years of living here). It is a ground squirrel and so far, has not climbed the tree to get to the feeder as there are plenty of seeds that fall to the ground. Beware of these cute fuzzy creatures - mine has killed and eaten a bird! (look up carnivorous squirrels if you're interested)I have two complaints. The first is that the underside of the top lid and the base have rust. I live in the coastal desert but it has rained the past few days. Considering I've only had this for a few weeks, I was a bit shocked to see the rust. The openings/perches are still in perfect condition. The second complaint is that seed debris falls between the clear plastic cylinder and the base. I can't remove the base to get these out. I'm afraid to clean with water as this might create the perfect conditions for mold growth. It is a very affordable feeder and served my purpose to figure out whether feeding birds was worthwhile. It is!BTW, it took about 2-3 weeks for the birds to start using, even though I placed close to a bird bath that gets a lot of use. Now I get a variety of birds throughout the day and need to fill it every day. I fill with black oil sunflower seeds as I read this was the most nutritious food and usually does not attract mice, which like the grains (read bird seed ingredients carefully).
