Mom's favorite
I bought this to replace my mom's glue gun (that I accidentally broke while cleaning out a back flow of glue). She LOVES it! It's her favorite of the many she's owned.Thanks to this glue gun, I've gone from being the black sheep of the family, to the favorite child! Mom told Grandma about it, and raved about it so much that I'm also the favorite grandchild! I'll be getting Grandma one for her birthday! Hello, inheritance!So, thank you. If it weren't for this glue gun, I'd still be the black sheep with no hope of inheritance. Now, I'm the family favorite and I can look forward to cash gifts, parties in my honor, and a healthy portion of the estate! Good glue gun, with dual temp feature.
So far it is working well. I like the dual heat feature, the automatic shut off, and replaceable glue tips. The only minor complaint is the rubber nose piece is not fitted/aligned to the lock nut for the replaceable tips. The unit seems a little less robust than my old one...we shall see how well it does over the years.

Pretty Good Gun
Good gun but the tip wore out, when i replaced them with some more the glue ended backing up into the gun and making them unusable. The tips that I bought may have not been the correct one s for this gun but lack information made it hard to be sure what tips would work. The auto off function is nice but not ideal in a high yield production facility where products are being assembled and have different steps in between gluing.

Finally, a glue gun which actually works. I have tried so many glue guns before, and all of them have something missing; either it does not melt, or it overheats after a while, or the nozzle is too chubby, or the trigger is too hard or has problems taking the second glue stick. Even though this one is little oversize, it is light enough, comes with multiple nozzles and keeps the heat at the right point.

Works well and the rubber guard over glue exit can be removed to get into tight places. Have used it a few times with high temp glue. One should not be distracted when using, easy to get a bad burn from the very hot glue.

Husband delighted with new gun!
Bought my husband a new (glue) gun for his birthday and he loves it! It's good sized, so it fits his extra large hands and he's AMPED about the additional glue spreading nozzles. He had a Black & Decker glue gun that was his favorite for years. Sadly it it seems to have been discontinued so I was looking for that when I found this Stanley model. He is so happy and he also appreciated the extra glue sticks that came with it. It includes a small variety pack of different types of glue. I would recommend this item for an adult with average size hands or larger.

Be careful. It gets very HOT
I bought this because it has an automatic off setting. However, I didn’t check how hot this glue gun gets and let my son use the glue gun for a small project.He burnt himself and had to go to the ER. Four months later he still has a scar from the burn.Lesson learned,this glue gun gets HOT.

Good product
I used this a lot. It is a good product. I needs some tweaking though. It leaks a lot of glue as the orings don't work well. One of the heaters arced out a few weeks ago with a big flash and pop. Now it is only a low temp glue gun. Otherwise it worked well. I like the different tips.

HORRIBLE!
This glue gun is absolutely horrible! First, glue pours out of the nozzle when it is resting at an alarming rate, wasting an entire glue stick in less than 15 minutes. I was using it with the long tip that is included and it literally exploded off, causing a burn on my finger. The tip is made of steel, but that machine got so hot it basically melted it off. I used this exactly as the directions told me to. I told Amazon about this and they are submitting an investigation into the safety of this product. I am so thankful that it was myself using the gun at the time of the event and NOT one of daughters. Do not purchase this unsafe product!
