No it is very sturdy but it is not a flotation device. It should be used for kicking drills or other swim technique drills.

No, this is NOT an adult sized kickboard. It measures 1.05" max thickness. Picture DOESN'T show the long 24+" 'U-shaped' channel carved out of the backside. Don't be fooled, the 'handles' and 'U-shaped' channel save Speedo money by eliminating material while sacrificing buoyancy.

Pools typically have two types of kickboards. I prefer the hard boards with no flex to them. Does this board flex?
