This rolling pin is light but sturdy. It comes with multiple diameter rubber rings which are easy to slide on or off but they hold their position well when rolling. The rings are very useful for getting pastry exactly the right thickness. It has measurements in both Imperial and Metric on it to help you position the rings if you are looking to roll out an exact width of pastry, etc.Very easy to clean. It's metal of course so I can put it in the fridge and add an extra bit of chill to it for making layered pastry which is good. Product arrived well packaged and with a friendly little note. I bought one of the widest ones. It's light but sturdy and I don't need the rolling pin to be especially heavy to roll out pastry. The measurements count outwards from the centre and are marked in the actual width between the rings so it's extremely simple to use. You want to roll it out to 20cm wide? An easy to use easy to clean hygienic rolling pin. Makes rolling out pastry a breeze with the thicknessing rubbers. The only problem is when you need to roll out a large disk of pastry, you need to take off the thicknessing rubbers to avoid making tracks in it.

Very useful and high quality rolling pin with stainless steel grading 18/8. Perfect for rolling pastry as non-stick and the guide rings ensure perfect sizing.

I’m actually using this for rolling clay slabs for pottery. The roller itself works as a roller should. The rubber depth rings are an excellent idea to help get a consistent depth and are good and tight, which also makes them reliable.

I got this because of the rubber bands that fit on the rolling pin to try and make my pasta thinner, I don't have a pasta machine and I'm new to making it so I'm having all sorts of issues. The bands have helped a lot keeping the thickness consistent, it's all very easy to clean. The rolling pin is sturdy but not really heavy, I like the measurements on the rolling pin so if I need anything a specific width then it's easy to do. I have had dough stick to the rolling pin a bit and I wasn't sure putting any flour on it to stop it sticking would work but it's done OK, although I mostly sprinkle flour on the dough as I find it easier. It's a great rolling pin and I'm glad I got it.

Purchased this together with the Extra Large and Thick Non-Stick Silicone Baking Pastry Mat with Dough Scraper as I entered the world of cookie baking with the granddaughter.. This roller is easy to use and clean. The different thicknesses of bands you can attach to the roller are amazing and just what we needed to ensure our pastry was rolled out to the correct thickness as dictated to by the cooking instructions. Makes life simple , less messy and generates baking great results. Well worth the money , great value.
