Used to pre heat for welding

I use it for HT steel... it's another rule out method that's very handy.

Tempilstiks are the gold standard for accurate temperature indicating crayons.

It's a great product but the core was broken inside

Item came dried out and crumbly. It still seems to work but is not very handy

Damned useful precaution to prevent overheating parts as part of heat shrinking. Verified temp indication with an infrared thermometer.

Showed up with the cartridge broken like many others have reported but the chunks are still big enough to hold in the pen. The complaints of "too hard/dry" ...operator error. Just keep lightly swiping the work piece while you preheat until you get the wet streak instead of nothing. All there is to it. The 350deg stick tests accurate enough

It melts and seemed to be correct rang cause bearing dropped in place.
