Good for chimney breasts.
I needed a small vent for a chimney vent. This works a treat. It's quite thin so flexes. On a flat wall that should be fine. On my walls it would jam. I ended up putting a thin foam trim on the back to take up any unevenness and lift it off the wall a bit. Anyway it works a treat.

Great Aluminium Closing Air Vent
Why did you choose this product over others?:Redesigning the area around our wood burner with a new plinth and backdrop. I Needed an air vent I could close behind the wood burner. This item was ideal as its aluminium metal (Behind the burner gets hot but not that hot due to space above and distance the burner is from the wall). Works fine and simple to use and install. Great price too. 👍

Yes they do the job but very thin metal that easily bends during fitting.
