I have worn the case for a few days now. I knew I would like it from day one though. I used to always use a leather holster case before phones got so big and heavy. The clips on those case just were not secure enough for me. I moved to Seidio holster cases until they stopped making them. When I got the 12 Pro Max I started looking for a new case. I could not find case/holster combo that still kept a very large phone somewhat manageable on my side.I ended up pairing a Raptic case with this holster and it is a perfect match. The clip is nice and strong and fits a 1.5” belt nicely. It is very comfortable and nothing digs into my side like the plastic case holsters I have used in the past. I also like how it quick disconnects so I can take it off and still have the screen protected from scratches. This is a nice feature for a phone this size.I am used to having a Max size phone on my side so this is not much larger than what I was used to. The comfort makes up for the case size. Keep in mind this is a very large phone and the case isn’t small and may not be for everyone. It is smaller and lighter than an otter box though.

I'll be honest, I've always used the horizontal leather pouch-style belt clip case from Piel Frama, but I've been disappointed with the durability for such a costly item. With my new iPhone 12 Pro Max I decided to try something else, this item. I am glad I did because I discovered that not only is the quality good (we'll see about durability down the road), it's fairly roomy. This does make it a larger dimension case, but it makes it less snug and easier to remove the phone from the holster.But even better, I thought it just might be roomy enough to work with a hard case for the iPhone. I've always wanted to use a hard case because I've had two drops with cracked screens, but I'd never been able to find a horizontal pouch belt clip style case compatible with a hard case. THIS ONE IS. I just got the Apple clear Mag Safe case for the phone, and it fits very comfortably.AND BETTER YET... I use the ProClip line of charging car mounts, and with the phone now in a medium sized case this allows me to get a ProClip phone holder charging phone holder that's adjustable in width, so I might not need to shell out hundreds for a new one each time I upgrade to Apple's slightly differently sized phone.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with a thin case and this holster is very much a top quality holder! Will only buy this kind in the future. It has the BEST connector between the belt part and the case. Very solid!

I purchased the Turtleback belt case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max to use with my iPhone 12 (Not Pro Max) with an Otter Defender Pro Case and it is a perfect fit. The belt clip is heavy duty & attached to the case with 4 rivets. It attaches more securely to my belt than others I’ve had & has just the right amount of flex in case I bump into anything. I also like that the clip is mounted near the top of the case so that the case sits mostly below the beltline. The swivel function is handy and works well. The flap is secured with 2 magnets which is much better than others that have only one. I really could not be more pleased with this case & it even has a "MADE IN USA" tag on the back! I researched a lot of holster type cases & hope that this review might be helpful!

I have been using otterbox defender pro for my phones forever and with my last phone note 10+ sand and dirt got under it and sanded the metal edges down I got the same case for my iPhone 12 Pro Max and 2 days working and there’s dirt and sand all inside the case around power and volume buttons so I got this and use the apple leather case so much better in the hand and last time I took the leather apple case off no dirt sand or dust under the case only where there are openings hope this helps I do construction so my situation may be different then anyone else

I’m not new to turtleback products. I happened, luckily, onto them with my last phone. I’d gone through 6 or 7 cases in a year for my iPhone XS Max. So frustrated that I was spending $29 per case to last a month or two... I happened on these.It lasted two years of my brutal usage. The clip usually breaks, but not this one. The piece I eventually ground down was the part of the clip that fits into the belt loop. A metal circular piece with a flower shape. Made to hold the phone orientation where you leave it. I ground off the small pieces that made the flower petal shaped things. So the clip was narrower then it started out as. That meant that the holster would release from the belt clip.However, this took a long time. 2ish years. Or more.These cost a tiny bit more then the junk holsters.They are well worth it.I will never purchase any other holster for my phones.I’m going to be trying their other products too. I’m positive they will all be of amazing quality.Thanks!!

Very well made leather case, looks reall nice and the clip is great. I like the fact that you can rotate the holster to different positions
