Incredible Solution for Leaky Windshields
This product worked wonders for me! After dealing with a persistent leak in my windshield for months and considering an expensive replacement, just one application during three heavy rainstorms did the trick. I absolutely love how it completely sealed the leak. This cost-effective solution truly delivers on its promises, and I highly recommend it to anyone facing similar issues.

This stuff works absolutely great!
This product work absolutely great for sealing a seam in the roof of my Lexus GX 470 near the back door. I watched a guy use this on YouTube to seal a leak in the same exact place. He recommended it because it’s thin enough to actually run down into where the crack was.

Good but oversold on capabilities
From the package: "Specially formulated wicking action silicone. Flows into hidden and hard-to-reach leaks around glass..." I did not find that it really wicked at all. To me, it is just a more runny RTV silicone sealant. Because is thinner, it will flow somewhat into nooks better than you can squeeze normal silicone sealant yourself. This, overall, seems to contribute to a better seal, so it might be the best product for the application, but it is not anywhere as great as the description might lead you to believe. Also, because it is runny, it is better used on small gaps and where the application is horizontal. If at an angle or vertical, it will tend to run out and drip. You might be better off with two light applications based on this. Based on its performance to claims, I'd give it a bit under 4 stars. One problem that this product (and most Permatex products) has is that it comes with a cut-off nozzle to apply the sealant. After you are done, there is no way to seal up the tube. Unfortunately, this makes it more of a one-time-use product and not so good if you want/need to do multiple applications because you still have a leak and/or the product leaked/ran out. I sealed the tip up extremely well with electrical tape, and it barely lasted overnight. (I had to cut some more of the tube off). Some other products (GE, I think) have a replaceable, screw cap over a pointed nozzle which would be much better. This probably knocks it down to 3 stars since it is not that cheap and not widely available. Finally, it claims to be odor-free. While it is vastly better than the pungent smell of acetic acid, it is not odor-free, but not really bad at all. Very-low odor would be more accurate, although smell is lesser important to me, I round back up to 4 stars. See my customer image of some landscape lights I was trying to seal from irrigation spray (which keeps corroding/ruining them). You can see that it flows better into crevices, but that it also has a tendency to run out. Hope you find my review useful.

No more rear window leak.
2019-'23 read sliding windows are notorious for leaking...and that's a nogo because there is a lot of electronics on the back wall of cab that are vulnerable to damage from water intrusion. My Ram 1500 is a 2020 model. The dealership replaced the rear window once under warranty, and exactly 7 days after the replacement we got a hard rain and the leak was back. So, upon the advice of several in the forum I belong to, I bought a case of this permatex flowable silicone. I sealed the crap out of the rear window, third brake light (also known to leak), and the sharkfin antenna on the roof. I'm proud to say that after two high pressure carwashes and tow fairly hard rains, I am leak free thanks to this product. I do have one minor complaint, and that being, on the label it says it dries clear. It does not. It's more of a slightly milky white. It's not that noticeable if you're not looking for it, and quite honestly, I'd rather see a slight hint of sealant rather than have a leaky window. I don't blame the dealership of the installers because they are forced to abide my manufacturer installation procedure. I blame Ram/Stellantis for a faulty install procedure. It's almost like that want it to leak, so the customer will return for more repairs. I'm glad I decided to go with this silicone sealant, because as it should be, I can now leave my truck outside in the rain, or run the truck through a carwash, and not experience leakage. I have several extra tubes...but any homeowners can find a use for some silicone, so it won't go to waste. Good product.

Great to seal new headlight assemblies. 1.5oz tube is enough for 2 mustang headlights
I recently bought an 04 Mustang and decided to change the headlights rather than restore them. A typical problem noted on replacement headlights is leakage due to poor sealing. After seeing a recommendation ro use this silicone to go over the seal on the new headlights the day before installing them I bought a tube at the same time I bought the headlights here on Amazon. The silicone works great for going over the seams of the lights. There are many areas that you need to get the sealant down into a crevice to cover the actual seam and this worked great. It oozed into place easily and was not so runny to make it difficult or messy to use. I used a liberal amount on the seams so the sealant would cover more than a little and it would sink into the visible gaps from the poor job the manufacturer did on sealing. I did the job on my counter, with no dripping (YMMV as it does ooze slowly and depending on your light, it could drip) or spilling and no strong odors. The silicone settled into place and I was able to let it set for about 30 minutes until it was tacky and no longer oozing before turning the assembly over and doing the opposite side. I let it sit overnight to cure and installed the lights the next day. While it hasn't been long, I did take it through the car wash and do not see any signs of leaks. Great stuff and cheap to ensure your automotive lamp assemblies don't leak.

Excellent
This is thinner than regular silicone which is exactly what I wanted I used this to repair a crack on my headlight at the bottom corner from a rock, it filled the crack easily and self leveled itself It’s been a few days now on cold rainy weather and it’s not leaking at all saved me from having to spend $1300 for a factory replacement led headlight for now

I ordered three tubes because I did not know how much I would need and only used one tube for the whole top of my windshield. It is runny so tape off, I had a leak for months and though I would need a new windshield. Used this (one application only) and have not seen a leak again in three major rainstorms. Highly recommend, will save you hundreds.

Jag tappade över till en spruta. Silikonen var lättjobbat och flöt ut bra. Jag kommer att beställa det på nytt.
