Quality urethane. fits like a glove place product in boiling water for five minutes slipped right on with a screwdriver tight as a drum.

These require 2 inches of stretch and we heated the tires in 200F hot water for 10 minutes and preheated the bandsaw rims with heat gun along with using 4 squeeze clamps and two 10 inch round screw drivers.It did take two of us to make the tires go on but with using round screw drivers the job was done in 10 minutes.They tires are snug and required a little finesse to run in the crowned wheels. Allowed parts to cool and then adjusted guide bearings and ran saw for five minutes to allow tires to equalize. All worked well and would recommend these for Rikon 14" bandsaw.

These tires are a breath of fresh air to an old wood band saw. My dad had an antique Milwaukee-Delta that he used almost daily, but the tires were worn out, and dry rotted. I ordered these, put them in hot water, slipped them on, and this saw works like a brand new one now. Absolutely NO power loss, no slipping, or any blade run out. I look forward to using it for years to come. Thanks for having these available. He might be gone, but I can keep his saw in good condition like he did.

Like many other reviews, I will say that these are a pain in the a&& to install. On first try, it seems they are not made for the wheels of your saw, because they are so small. That being said, it is important that the wheel covers be extremely tight to the bandsaw wheels, since they are spinning. If they were loose, they would be floppy and they would not work.For me, I found the best way to install them was to aggressively stretch them a bit by putting one section under my shoe, and then pulling up very hard to make them slightly longer. Even at that it takes a lot of effort to install them, sort of like when you tried to put a tire on your bicycle when you were a kid. But they do fit, and they do work. My saw has never run better!

Fits but best to warm them up in hot water before carefully prying them on.

I had wanted these for a while and finally got them for my old saw. They came in fast and seem to be good quality. There are a lot of options and I didn’t have any reasons to pick this brand. I think they were slightly cheaper than the next choice. They were way tougher to install than I had expected. I have an old delta clone bandsaw that was in someone’s back yard for most of its life. I tried to just put them on. No luck. After that I pre-stretched them a bit by pulling on them like big exercise bands. That helped a bit, but I still had to inch them on. I am sure there is a video out there showing how to do this properly.

Remove wheels for installation, takes a lot of force to stretch tire.Good initial fit, durability will take time for evaluation.

these fit on my 14" craftsman saw. just warm the tires up in hot water for 5 min, then stretch them over the wheel. I have a 3/4" blade on it right now
