Truck Stop

My kid loves this book. Main reason for not giving it a better review is that it specifically says inside the cover that it is a copy printed for the Imagination Library and is not for resale. The seller is ripping people off by selling, for pure profit, books that were printed for charity. Otherwise, as stated above, my 2 year old loves the book itself. I only had to order another copy because our original was totally worn out from use.

My four-year-old son just adores this book to the point where he has memorized the whole thing. The story is very approachable for preschoolers and leads to opportunities for parent/child discussions on children helping their parents, looking out for each other, and creating a sense of community.

This is one of my three year old grandson's favorite books. After checking it out of our local library several times, I just bought him his own copy. We delight in all the colorful characters who stop at the truck stop daily and there are lots of things to notice and discuss about the wonderful illustrations. We can drag this bedtime story out for as long as we like! I hyave an MS degree in early childhood education and have been a preK teacher so I'm experienced in children's literature and I'm pretty picky about the books I share with my first grandchild. Truck Stop is a treasure to be read and shared.

I would have gave it 5 stars if I would have received the hard copy to begin with. It’s not a dealbreaker since they were very prompt and very awesome about exchanging it. It’s my sons favorite book so I will most likely buy another copy or two since he’s still young.

My son is 2 1/2 and a truck lover. We have read this book before bed every night for the past month! He even carries it around the house. He also likes breakfast foods (pancakes, doughnuts, eggs...) and knows which drivers orders what. Very cute book!

A cute book about trucks that has a narrative flow! My 2-year-old loves reading it and asks about "Green Gus" a lot. Short enough to keep young kids interested.

One of the best books for preschool aged boys. My son has had me read this book so many times that he can now "read (memorized)" it himself. Love it.

This is easily my son favorite book he is 4 and he has memorized every single work!!!!
