I am a very large person. I also must donate a urine sample to test for drugs on a regular basis. Getting the urine into a small vial for testing has become very difficult. I talked with the lab and my physician and no one seemed to have an answer. One night the solution hit me. I had used a sitz bath many years ago when recovering from surgery down in the sitting region. Why not just do my business into an empty sitz bath. I also bought some large lab syringes to transfer the liquid into the vial. Worked like a charm. The product was not intended for this purpose but sometimes old Marines have to “Improvise, Adapt, Overcome” to reach our objective. My VA lab is happy, the physician is happy and most importantly it was very easy. The lip of the sitz bath has holes that allowed me to neatly pour the unused fluid into the bowl of the toilet. A quick rinse in the sink and everything went back into one of my nylon grocery bags and I discreetly walked out of the lab.Sometimes the manufacturers of products create something that serves its original purpose perfectly and can also be adapted without modification to 'fill' another purpose. Highly recommended for those who must give samples and also have difficulty getting it neatly into the sample vial. Oh, and as a sitz bath is is really soothing.

I had one of these years ago after having my first child. No idea where it was when during the pandemic had some hemorrhoid issues. This is truly a lifesaver and works better than creams. It’s soothing and takes care of problem. Also effective if you get a fissure tear to help heal it. You don’t need it until you do.

At first I was a little skeptical that this work 1) fit on my toilet and 2) I fit comfortably in it. I also was not sure that it would hold up well or if it would crack or break.After using it for about a month or two, I must say I am surprised. The tub unit itself holds up well and fits well on the toilet. There are no signs of cracking, breaking, bending, or white creases in the plastic to indicate that it is starting to give way. It is also pretty easy to clean the way the contours are; there really are not any sharp corners where anything could get caught in it. It has not damaged the toilet in any way. There are overflow ports in the front and in the back which work great. The tub also fits in my bathroom sink and under the faucet easily so I can fill it with water first before placing it. Because the actual unit is a little smaller than most toilets, if does move or slide sometimes if you shift your weight while sitting on it. The first few times that happens it is a little alarming and you may spill, but you will get used to that and it won't slip anymore.The plastic bag and the plastic tube are also well made for the most part. The tube works fine and has not leaked or clogged up. The plastic bag is made very well and sturdy. You can definitely squeeze the bag hard to help fill the tub unit faster without worry the bag will break. My one complaint is that the top of the bag, while it was made well originally to not allow a reverse flow when you squeeze it, that seal has broken. Now if I squeeze the full bag, I need to be careful that the water does not leak out the top. Originally when I first got it I did not have to worry.I just want to note that I was surprised how easy it is to get the water to flow from the bag to the tub unit. The sink is not much taller than the toilet, and all of the photos online or even on the box show placing the plastic bag much higher to get the water to flow down. However I have been able to just have the bag sit in the sink and the tubing to go right to the tub unit. So what I do is fill the tub a little with water. Place it on the toilet and set the tube to the tub. Fill the plastic bag with hot water from the sink. Lift the bag up high and squeeze it. Once the water is flowing from the bag through the tubing to the tub, I set the bag back down in the sink. The water will continue to go through the tubing, even though the sink is in a little basin so the water has to travel up first before it can go down to the toilet. I don't know how this works, perhaps a vacuum (??), but it does every time.When I use this I usually use epsom salt and coconut oil. I put both in the tub basin first, then I fill it with hot water and stir it up. Then I set the tub in the toilet and set up the tubing, fill the bag, get the water flowing, and use the product.Overall, good product for the price. Not the best, but pretty close. I just wish the bag held up well, and I fear the bag will eventually break down. As I mentioned, it has already begun to break at the top and the seal does not work well.

I have only used this one time, since I got it, yesterday. I was surprised that I could do what I needed to do, and it was the least expensive product of its type. I held it under the faucet in the kitchen, put what I thought was enough warm water in it, and easily carried it to the bathroom. I placed it on the toilet and sat on it for about 20 minutes. When I was finished, I grabbed a towel and dried myself off. I slowly lifted the front of the Sitz Bath and the water flowed out the back. I didn't get a drop on the floor. I'll probably use it several more times, today.

I use this to soak my ragin' roids whenever they flare up, usually because I've been bad and not eating as much fiber as I should be. Then, they bleed. Once time, it was so bad I saw several drops of blood in the bowl. It was like I was having a bad nose bleed. That kinda freaked me out, until I remember my doctor telling me stories of how my case of hemorrhoids was mild (up to this point), as some of his patients have it so bad they bleed into the bowl. Needless to say, the roids was painful at this point. So, I soaked my tush for the next few days to help alleviate the pain and reduce the swelling. Note that you really should have a healthy diet high in vegetables and fiber so that you don't have to use this sitz bath. This should be your goal. But when you do need one, it's a life-saver as it really helps to soothe the pain. (Note: Consult your doctor if you're not sure your bleeding is normal or not.)The one thing I have to say is because the bowl is kinda big (it has to be so your tush can fit inside it), it's hard for me to clean. I can only flush 10% of it under the running faucet at any given time. Still, it would be unfair for me to dock points for this.

I use this product for postnatal care. I took off one star because there are white stress lines where it looks like it might eventually crack (happened after first use). Took off another star because the bag & tube that comes with the product is pretty much useless; the tube won't stay in place & its cumbersome to find some way to keep the bag up without spilling water. Therefore I use this product without the attachment & if I want to add more water I just use a cup & it still serves its purpose. For the price point I would order again if the one I have ends up breaking.
