The Human Experiment lifts the veil on the shocking reality that thousands of untested chemicals are in our everyday products, our homes and inside of us. Simultaneously, the prevalence of many diseases continues to rise. From Oscar winner Sean Penn and Emmy winning journalists Dana Nachman and Don Hardy, The Human Experiment tells the personal stories of people who believe their lives have been affected by chemicals and takes viewers to the front lines as activists go head-to-head with the powerful and well-funded chemical industry. These activists bring to light a corrupt system that's been hidden from consumers... until now.

Well Intentioned, Informative Movie That Avoids Today's Most Toxic Threat To Mankind!
This movie, considering the information, is certainly worth a five star rating and kudos to Sean Penn for being willing to put this information in front of a broader audience. He is to be commended. The reason I withheld the other two stars is due to the information that the movie did not divulge and that is a far greater toxic threat to human health than what was discussed in the movie. That threat is GeoEngineering, atmospheric aerosol spraying of toxic, heavy metal, nano-particulates. Heavy metals such as Aluminum, known to be a contributor to Alzheimer's Disease, Down's Syndrome and many Respiratory Diseases, Barium, Strontium and many others are being sprayed all over the Earth.Ironically, toxic aerosol spraying can be witnessed throughout the movie itself in scenes showing the spraying occurring in daytime sky. This omission cannot be due to oversight and my sense is, the threat posed by aerosol spraying was intentionally omitted due to support of aerosol spraying by the film makers or due to the filmaker's fear of reprisal by the EPA or other government entities. Either one of these reasons for omission render the film makers as irresponsible as the people and organizations who manufacture these toxic chemicals and the people who produce the toxic products they are exposing in the film.Every day, every living organism on this planet is breathing in toxic aerosol spray, absorbing the fallout through their skin and eating it on contaminated food and water. When key scientists have been questioned about the health hazards associated to toxic aerosol spraying they admit that no long term health and environmental testing has been done for the purpose of risk reduction and management. The film covers real life, right thinking people who individually have made a great difference in reducing the threat that certain toxic chemicals pose in commercial products and this is proof that when people unify on a common cause, change can be effected. Please do research on the topic of GeoEngineering and the toxic aerosol spraying of our sky and let those behind the ill conceived process know that you do not consent with what is being done.

Eye opening even for someone very natural minded.
This goes into what problems we are facing and why change isn't happening even when other countries are working so hard to make life less risky with everyday products. As a mom and wife of a bug guy I have made switches to cloth diapering and more reusable options and natural products to avoid chemicals that are in products that are on the market. It's not enough that products have some warning or labels that say toxic. They should not be made available where they can harm children and babies and mothers. Show the companies you care about this issue with your money. Learn about laws that advocates are trying to move forward. Be active in supporting local businesses that are trying to move this forward. We can make a difference!

A must watch for anyone who cares about their health, their kids' health
Informative, sobering, and ultimately hopeful look at how the essentially unregulated proliferation of chemicals in the U.S. has impacted our health. For decades lead and asbestos were assumed safe because, surely, the government wouldn't allow them in our homes and products that directly touched us. But we're living that false assumption today with thousands of chemicals in our home and health products. This is a very well-done eye-opener. The adverse health related statistics are shocking. The people working for change - with lots of money and power working against them - are inspiring.

It IS a matter of life and death! Listen up!
If you care at all about your health and that of your loved ones and children, you'll pay attention to this and make some easy changes to your life. Allowing chemical companies to profit at the expense of human health is an outrageous! Dare to educate yourself, it might scare you, but in the long run, everyone needs to hear what this documentary has to say!

Really under researched and overly alarmist
My husband and I watched this at the suggestion of a friend. We were both rolling our eyes throughout. A woman with fertility issues is shocked that she didn't get instantly pregnant after going off the BCP. Then she is shocked that IVF doesn't instantly succeed. Then she is shocked that a multiple pregnancy resulted in premature labor. But it's all the fault of chemicals! Or perhaps, more simply put, not everyone is capable of conceiving a child due to pre-existing genetic causes. Sigh.A group meets to discuss protesting cancer causing chemicals yet one person in the crowd is drinking a beer and another wine out of a (gasp) plastic cup! Alcohol is carcinogenic too.Overall, this was super dumb. Sorry.
