RSL Creative Writing, Book 2: KS2, KS3, 11 Plus & 13 Plus - Workbook For Ages 9 Upwards

Where to start...another really helpful and amazing product by Robert Lomax!! I wish we found his website and his books two years ago!! I am not a teacher, nor is English my first language, my children had a weekly tutor, but nothing, was as clearly laid out, easy to follow and very effective. Because you can do as much or as little as you like, it makes it more enjoyable and made me feel part of helping my children in their exams. Very very very highly recommended...not only this book, but all Robert Lomax. He also has RSL Maths and RSL Comprehension volume 1&2, absolute gold..

I bought this book for my son’s grammar school stage 2 exam. It is really well set out with humour injected. Illustrations and examples are provided.We have gone methodically through the examples and practised and I feel he has made some progress in just a day or two.

Such a fantastic resource. The book contains lessons, on persuasive writing and continuing a story which are common 11 plus exam creative writing task. The step by step process gives clear structure and being able to critique others work is a fantastic way to learn. My daughter has taken some key points from each lesson and her confidence as well as quality of writing have improved significantly over a short period. Highly recommend this fantastic resource.

Not great....not interesting for kids, not child friendly, for teachers...looks like..my son said boring...Any books created for children..needs have style and design to attract a child...

Average quality book, unnecessarily overpriced.

It is not good. RSL comprehensions are better. Not worth it. I don't recommend.

My daughter loves this book. I have tried so many creative writing books on Amazon before this came along. The quality of the author is reflected in this excellent material. The simple steps needed to make exquiste writing pieces is lovely, I love that it is not filled with weird spooky bits too. It will challenge and inspire the very able to the reluctant learner.
