Durable and easy to set up
We've had this tent since 2022 and used it about 10 times. We love it. It is small and cozy, but great for an adult and kid. As far as dimensions, to be comfortable, the adult should be 6 feet or under (if the mattress you use is somewhat high, you will run out of space for your feet past that height). I'd say child will be very comfortable until at least age 10. I've been camping since my child was 5 until he's now 9.It's cheap and good at the same time. No nonsense. Perfect beginner tent because it's extremely easy to set up (2 long poles for the tent, one short pole for the canopy). For 50 bucks you can't go wrong. It is durable.

Top Quality, Well Designed Tent
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a top quality tent and saw that this is a best seller on Amazon (between its various sizes) and bought it and have not been disappointed. It was a breeze to set up. It seems that everything has been well thought out and it’s hard to fault it .The door is large and it’s easy to get in and out. It can zipped up or unzipped from inside or outside. It has great airflow which is useful in hot and humid south Texas but I am not sure if I would need that much on a cold day.I have been replacing my 25 year old camping equipment and went this 3 person tent though I may end up buying the 6 person version.I wanted to try it out in a rain event. Fortunately we had a 30Minute thunderstorm and it passed that test with flying colors.I left it set up for 4 days, there is no risk of mildew from what I see. There are lots of tents available and some look pretty impressive but after watching on line reviews. Some turned out to be of very poor quality and a few filled with water in just steady rain. This Coleman has none of those issue and I would have no p qualms about taking this for a camping weekend.A good buy!

great for rain, not great for hot summer camping.
Great Tent. Easy to put up and take down. Zippers work well, just watch the cover flap. Got caught in a massive thunderstorm and the tent was dry as a bone. Fit's a queen size blow up mattress but it takes up the entire tent. Not good for anyone over 5'10" as I was touching on both sides. Airflow is decent but it was super hot and humid so I can say this is not a hot weather camping tent. Great for warm, cool, and cold maybe but it was super hot in our tent because the windows are on the small side but the trade off is that it is very water resistant. used a fan and that helped enough to let me sleep but I was still covered in sweet. (The others in our party were fine).

Pretty good tent, no complaints except 4-person capacity?
Easy and quick to assemble, but no instructions on how to use guylines - luckily the campsite has cell connectivity and I found a good video explaining how, which is super easy and convenient. Good ventilation, 2 mesh pockets for keys, smartphone, etc., can hang small light at top of tent, like many tents, I question the durability of the stakes, but none broke during set up. We thought we would have the opp to test its waterproof ability, but rain never broke - that testing will have to wait. Our 4-person option very comfortably accommodates 2 adults rather than 4 people, unless you like sleeping like canned sardines. This is our only complaint. Good thing neither of our adult children joined us on this trip otherwise they would’ve slept in the car.Hard to beat the price of this tent. I paid nearly 2x this price for a 1-person Kelty tent. One concern I have is the tent’s waterproof ability as 1 person on YouTube had problems with this, however another person did not. So, I suppose we’ll see.Good tent so far, hard to beat its price, and historically we have come to trust Coleman for many of our camping gear over many years.

Great Beginner Budget Car Camping Tent!
For the price point you are doing well with this purchase. Tent is 9ft x 7ft and has more space than an average 4-person tent. From my pictures you can see that there is a queen size 20" thick air mattress in there. I'm 6' 3" and I still have 2ft over my head when sitting on the mattress and plenty of space around it on the floor for items and the ground air vent. Very comfortable for 2 people to sleep and store backpacks, shoes and even a cooler. This is not a backpacking tent but one from the car at a drive in campsite. It weight about 15lbs with everything in the carry case. It sets up fairly quick and easy, even if doing solo. The poles are all attached together via flexible twine so you can loose them separately or have to worry about how they install. They assemble quick and you loop them through the tent in an X pattern and pop them into place, easy and efficient and only took about 20 minutes the first time by myself, with the rain fly. This also includes placing a separately purchased footprint underneath as well.**Remember how the tent unfolds from the package when you set it up! This is the best manner to refold in if you want everything to fit into the carry case it comes with easily. It's not difficult but have the patience to do it right and it will fit with ease every time. There are separate mini bags for the stakes and the poles and if done right I can pack my footprint bag in the carry case as well. Make sure to tear the label off the bottom of the carry case so that it can expand in size as well.Tent is made from nylon and the poles are fiberglass with aluminum connectors. 1500nm on the water resistance, yea well what does that mean right? I set the tent up in the backyard, closed it up and let it sit in the morning rain and wind for a few hours. afterwards when went into the tent and there wasn't a drop of water on the inside. The next night I slept in it with the vents open and did not have a condensation or a venting problem problem. Air flowed through the tent nicely even with the rain fly attached. The bottom of the tent comes up about 5 inches off the ground and creates a small boat effect so when caught in a decent rain with running water around will still prevent water from seeping into your tent. Just remember to point the narrow side of the tent into the wind if possible to mitigate wind loads. There are 2 mesh pockets at the head and foot areas to place cell phone, wallet, keys, ect... and a small hook up top where you can hang a light\lamp. Also a cool feature that allows you to run an electrical cord through the window in the bottom corner of the tent, see pictures. Very cool feature as I have to run a cord from the power inverter in my car to inflate the air mattress. It zips up around the cord, water proof like so no leaks in the rain.
