Upgraded to recommending.
So bought these coffee filter a couple of months ago, from 1stvreview; unexpected the expected to now upgrading to recommending. Here’s a break down the reason I update / change my review from expected to recommending; After a couple months of using these coffee dipper filter literally everyday; these products have prof to me that it’s able to make produce dark & rich coffee that I like; and I am able only use a couple of these filter ( eauaks to about 8 of those small / original filter which i already have a whole bunch.these filter takesva longtime to drip which is what i wanted; ( I make it at night abiut 1-2 hours before going to sleep ), andby the time i wake up, it's done.anyway; Pro #1; & my recommendation ; in order to get a good deal; buy the set of 3, because that's the cheapest for those filter when you divided in 3instead of 1 ( the most expensive; highly not recommended )#2; able to make dark rich coffee.#3; very large filter ( will NOT fit for 90% of cups, in order to slove this issue; diaso has one of those very wild mouth large jar which will be able to hold the filter securely.4; really easy to clean; rinse under tap water, air dry or throw it into the dish washer.5; able to hold a large amount of coffee.Cons; not able to use any size cup to hold these filter. width mouth mason jar or any width mouth jar needed.conclusion; these is actually tge 2nd time i have purchase; very happy with this product ( the biggest;15oz ( i think ), I have also recommended to a few of my friends who are actually vietnamese themself, who also drinks at least a couple of cups per day. so with this filter they will be able to only make once instead of twice daily; save them time, effect & energy.anyway; highly recommending to anyone who are planning to buy this kind of filter.Ps; I have also attached 3 pics; so you guys will able to see the jars I was talking about above.

Elegantly simple brewer that will last you a lifetime.
If you want to make traditional Vietnamese coffee, this is the style brewer you are looking for. Brewing is pretty straight forward. I recommend starting with the standard 1g coffee to 15ml water, or 15 grams of coffee and 250ml of water. You want to use a medium-fine grind. If your brew is to watery, you went to course, and if the filter 'chokes' and takes more than six minutes to brew, you went to fine. Your brew time should be right around five minutes. My brew:1) 15 grams of coffee in the brewer, trying to get it as flat/even a possible. Then put the metal screen (usually called the gravity press) on top of the dry coffee grounds.2) Put the filter plate over your coffee mug, making sure the mug is big enough to hold all your coffee. If your mug isn't big enough, the coffee will overflow the sides. Put the coffee filter on top of the filter plate.3) using boiling water (or off boil depending on your coffee roast level), pour about 30 ml of water as evenly as you can into the brewer. Then put the lid on. This is known as the bloom, and is important to make sure your brew doesn't finish to quickly.4) wait between 30 and 45 seconds, then pour in the remaining water, totaling 250ml including your first pour. Put the lid back on, and you can walk away.5) come back five minutes later, remove the brewer from your mug and enjoy.Traditional Vietnamese coffee includes sweetened condensed milk in the mug, which the coffee is brewed into. It is good, as you would expect something with extra sugar and milk would be, but I like the coffee just fine black. The mouthfeel is between a French press and a pour over, decidedly closer to the French press. This is a buy it for life product. There are no paper filter to replace, no gaskets that will wear out, no glass or plastic that might crack or shatter if you drop it. You don't have to worry about mesh screens, everything is medal. If you are thinking about buying it, buy it. Amortized over a lifetime of brewing, this is one of the more cost effective ways to make good coffee easily.Pros - value, build, longevity, durably, simplicityIt is not as simple as a French press, but it will not take you more than one or two brews to be an expert.
