Panzer Dragoon II Zwei [Japan Import]

What can I say? This is quite simply the greatest 3D shooter ever made. It may be short, but every level is unique, the bosses are huge, and most of the levels have more than one path you can take. Plus, when you beat the game tons of hidden game options are unlocked (level selection, dragon type, weapon type, just to name a few). The graphics are amazing, the music is astounding, the control is perfect, the gameplay supreme. I never forgot the first time my dragon took flight (my jaw dropped to the floor). Nor will I ever forget the first time I found the secret final boss. If you like shooters, or ever just good games, you must own this game.I recently decided to replace my English copies with the Japanese version for a couple of reasons.First, it's almost impossible to find a copy in good shape in English, and both of my copies were slightly damage (one crashes in the intro movie, the other during the ending movie). I wanted to be able to play the game all the way through without worrying about crashes, and Japanese gamers take much better care of their possessions than Americans do, so you can quite easily find a copy of this game imported from Japan that's in near-new condition. Secondly, the artwork and case for the Japanese version are MUCH prettier, and really quite iconic. It feels like a collector's item. And lastly, it's CHEAPER! Yeah you can sell a beat-up copy of the English version of this game and use the funds to buy a BRAND NEW copy from Japan. The only downside is you have to wait for the game to be shipped from the other side of thew world. But given how friendly and helpful the Japanese sellers are, and how cheap an import converter for Saturn is, I consider buying an import copy of this game to be highly recommended.The only downsides importing the game as relates to the game itself are: The subtitles for cut scenes are in Japanese. Really, that's it. The menus are in English. I've played this game so many times I've memorized the sparse dialog from every cut-scene, so it's no big deal to me. There may be other slight changes but they aren't big enough to notice. If you are a collector with an import converter and want to enjoy this game as collector's item, this is the way to go.

This game is as fun now as it was 20 years ago. Even better its more affordable being from Japan. You do not need to speak Japanese to enjoy this classic.

This is a very cool game, and I understand why it was so popular when the Saturn was on the market. If you are a gamer, collector, or both this game won't disappoint.

発売当時、どうしても本作がプレイしたくてサターンと一緒に購入した。期待以上の面白さに、ＳＴＧの最高傑作だとずっと思っていた。そして時代が流れ、一端手放したものの、再び本体ともども入手してプレイした。そこで当時は知らなかったことを発見する。このゲーム、ワイドテレビに対応している。つまり、１６：９での表示でゲームが出来るのだ。発売された当時は、まだ衛星放送も試験放送中で、１６：９表示のテレビなどたいして普及していなかった２０年前だ。そして今、ＯＰＴＩＯＮ設定をＷＩＤＥにし、当時より大きくなった地デジのテレビの画面でプレイをした。絶句とはこのことである。当然、１６：９に対応しているので、両サイドが切れることなく、画面いっぱいのサイズでゲームが出来る。そして、４：３のときと違うのは、右と左の両サイドの見える範囲が広がって表示されるのである。たったこれだけであるが、それにより、浮遊感や、ゲームのアクション性などが、４：３のときよりも格段に向上するのである。そしてなにより、地デジテレビでフルスクリーンで表示できる迫力。そこで知ったのだ。当時の自分は、このゲームの本気を遊んでいなかったのだと。そして、本当に再びサターンと本作を入手したことを良かったと思ったのである。本作を４：３の表示でしか遊んだことにない方は、是非引っ張りだしてでも１６：９のフルサイズでプレイして欲しい。絶対に後悔はしません。２０年前の神ゲーは、いまだに健在だったのである。

第１作目のパンツァードラグーンは何度かリメイクや続編に同梱されているのですが、本作についてはいつまで待ってもそれが無い。と言うわけでサターンの中古と本作を購入。おっさんにこんな行動をとらせる名作中の名作です。

商品には、全く問題ありません。昔、プレイした時の喜びが味わえました。

前作の世界観を壊すことなく、ゲーム性を昇華させた最強で永遠の名作ドラマチックシューティングゲームです。達成率100%達成しました!はまりすぎてCDも購入してしまい、ウォークマンに入れてます(^O^)多分これ以上のゲームに出会うことはないでしょう!因みにこのツブァイは前作をプレイして初めて意味のある作品なので、絶対に前作をプレイして下さい!あ〜PS3で新作作ってくれませんか、SEGAさん!パンツァードラグーンは永遠に不滅です(^O^)
