Better than Happy Planner!
I used Happy Planner before, but am thrilled with this purchase for my coming school year. While I do prefer the HP sturdier cover, and some might mind that you cannot add or remove pages like Happy Planner, I love that Bloom contains all the same extra features of the HP (student info, gradebook pages, password sheet, field trip info, call home log, and a folder) but is less bulky, just as pretty, and has the vertical layout I prefer as well as more space for each day!Update - purchased a new one for next school year!

Not perfect for homeschooling but with some time and effort you can make it work
This "Joy" Bloom Planner is made for teachers of public school, so it starts in August and goes through July, and there are some pages in the beginning that a homeschool family likely won't need. It took time (and markers, stickers, and some craftiness), and a lot of writing over titles and lines, but I changed the following pages around to make it work:1) "Info for the sub" page to "Info for the Year".2) "Student Info" pages to Curriculum Information, Book List, and Other Resources List.3) "Communication Log" into Important Contacts.4) Field Trip Information page only has room for 3 field trips- I plan to use this page to record info for our top 3 extracurricular activities.5) Grade Book: Each grade book section spans 2 pages and provides 31 rows and 34 columns total. I will use it to be quarterly grades and took out any extra pages.6) Important Dates and Birthdays pages: Here is where I will add our field trips among other yearly overview notes.Other things I wanted to note:*This planner doesn't have a yearly calendar overview since I got picked the UNDATED planner.*There is no attendance tracker. I like to color in the date on the monthly calendars at the beginning of each month, total at the end of each month, and quickly add those totals for a total at the end of each quarter.*The end of each month there are 2 pages for "Month in Review" followed by a page for "Planning for..." the next month to jot down focus', goals, and space I like to add a Supplies Needed list.*The weekly/daily planner part lists the days of the week along the top (Mon-Fri) and subjects along the side (up to 7). They are wide enough to easily plan for multiple kids if needed. There are 6 lines beside each subject so you could technically fit 6 students but you'll just need to write smaller.*At the end of the planner there is a "Year in Review" page with 6 boxes to fill in (Most memorable moments, small and large victories, goals I reached, New skills/techniques I learned, mistakes that I learned from, and biggest takeaways from the year.) I would have liked it to be over multiple pages to fill in more details.*There is a pocket on the back cover for loose papers, and the frosted jacket is on the back and front for added protection, which is really nice for how much this thing will be tossed about for a year.*The pages feel lighter than the previous planner I had, however, I have used felt tipped pens, gel pens, Crayola scented markers, and various colored highlighters and they have not bled through pages. Permanent markers, such as Sharpies, will bleed through one side of the paper. If you press too hard writing with pens or pencils, it will be felt on the other side of the paper.*Takeaway: If you're homeschooling and not really one who wants to spend time to convert pages, this book is probably not for you. I am crafty and enjoy that sort of thing so it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

this one works juuuust fine! It may not have all the same stickers
HIgh school teachers looking for an alternative to an expensive Erin Condren planner, this one works juuuust fine! It may not have all the same stickers, extra pages, etc., but I didn't use all of that even when I had my Erin Condren, so this was a perfect replacement for half of the cost. I'm so happy with how it looks and functions! Great buy!

ANGRY TEACHER
I am a teacher, so I do not make the big bucks BUT I invested in this $30 planner in hopes to stay more organized. I was geeking out over it arriving today and when I opened it, it’s a USED planner. Really!?! So now I have to take time out of my day to ship it back and wait until a new one can arrive next week. NICE! Just what I needed the day before students arrive.

Flexible Schedule Vertical Days in Color!
This product is THE ONLY one on the market with vertical days, and not necessarily a "set" amount of periods per day, with color for the eye! I could not be more excited to utilize this product every day. I cannot believe how strong the wiring is... no openings in the wire like some have. This is truly spiral, can fold all the way around for easy maneuverability! Perfection!

Terrible Bent Binding making difficult to flip pages
When I pay over $30 for a planner, it better be bound well. Nothing is more frustrating than getting my planner and having bent spiral binding that can never be straightened. All year I will have problems flipping pages. The worse thing is it wasn’t even my mailman’s fault, as our mailbox is on our house and he hand delivered it to me and didn’t even have to put it in the box. Very disappointed with quality of binding.

Beautiful and Great Quality
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt the need to comment on how happy I am with this purchase. Planner books can be hard to find exactly what you’re looking for without all the “extras” you never use but pay extra for or it doesn’t have enough of what you’re looking for but you make due because the price is right. This one is neither of those scenarios. This planner is sturdy, beautifully designed, has great paper quality and is a great size. Has all the necessities with little extras that are very useful. The price was perfect for what you get. Very happy with this purchase! Thanks Bloom 💗

Great for school counselors too
I'm a school counselor and there's not as much geared toward us as there is for teachers, but this planner is versatile enough that I can use it for everything next year. I'm even planning on using the pages dedicated to keeping grades as a way of keeping track of when I meet with my students (in code of course!) I like the monthly goal and reflection pages, and that there's a monthly calendar and daily calendar with lots of lines. I already set it up for next year and I can't wait to use it after summer break.
