It has a covered elastic band. I find them very comfortable.

I find that the underwear is very comfortable then most. I am reordering them. They don't crawl like most underwear.

Q: Im a size 22 pants...What size do I go for these cute little numbers?

I am a 18-20 pants and order my fruit of the looms in a 10. There should be a size chart somewhere. According to the chart on the package--you'd take a size 11. Hope this helps.
