Love this bulb but..
I purchased this bulb for a lantern style lamp. I love that I can dim and warm the light to suit the ambiance I want. However, when setting the flicker, I was really disappointed that it only flickers by way of flashing the light. Even at it's lowest flicker setting, it is not realistic and very noticeable. For a person with seizure, not a great feature. Hope the flicker feature is improved in future releases.

Some attention required for set up but well worth it.
These bulbs are very versatile and efficient though it does take some time to set up/ link them with your phone through Alexa, HomeKit, ect. If you follow the instructions/prompts for set up it is very simple and the results are worth it. The color/ brightness of the bulbs doesn’t disappoint and they worked exactly as intended. Very pleased with the product and it’s functionality as it was just what I was looking for.

Great bulb, except for a few issues.
I bought three of these bulbs for lamps above my media center, and while they do look great, there are some issues. Responsiveness is a near constant problem. When a scene in homekit is run, more often times than not, one of the bulbs doesn't respond until I set the scene again. This gets a bit frustrating, and makes the system appear glitchy, but isn't a dealbreaker. I would say that is related to the connection issues others have had. Another problem is that modifying color temperatures can get you a slight pink hue to the bulb at certain settings. What really sells this bulb to me is the nice candle flicker effect, and the LIFX app being good software. If you are using homekit the options for E12 bulbs are highly limited, so until someone puts out another candelabra bulb but with Adaptive Lighting and Thread (these do not support that), it's working just fine for me as-is.

Another great bulb by Lifx!
We've been using Lifx wifi bulbs for a few years now, with no issues. We have 4 of the mini, and 1 of the standard size, all of which do the full variation on display of color, and on display of Whites from Ultra warm to Brite White. This is our first Lifx bulb that has the Candelabra base. It is working beautifully in our Thomas Kinkade Lamp in the hallway. It ranges from Ultra warm White to Brite White. This bulb doesn't do Color, like our other Lifx bulbs, however the range of White temperature it offers is beautiful. When adjusting brightness to 100% it puts out the perfect amount of light for a small hallway. And of course all our lights are voice controlled through Alexa!Another great bulb by Lifx. Thanks Lifx! Keep up the good work!

It says candle but it does not burn.. hm?
THE LIFX APP IS AWESOME. I like testing out the strobe feature to see if it triggers a seizure. So far nothing yet, but I'll keep practicing!

Finnicky Software
Lifx has fell far from where they were at the beginning. They used to be innovative and ahead of the market. Now they’re just getting left behind. Their software is super glitchy and doesn’t work well with their older products. Bulbs are CONSTANTLY losing connection to the app. Half won’t update anymore. Half change color on their own. Sometimes they don’t turn on and have to be unplugged. The rest lose their connect to 3rd party apps and then don’t have the home kit code on the bulb but on a random piece of paper in the original box with so easily lost and once it’s gone. So is any hope to connect the bulb to the rest of your house architecture.Bottom line, if I wasn’t so far invested in them I would have switched back to Hue. But simply can’t justify the cost.

They constantly disconnect
Constantly disconnecting from home kit. Second version if lifx bulb’s ive purchased and they’ve all had this issue. I wont be buying them again.Editing review from 1 to 2 stars: I like these bulbs, I really do, they're bright and when they work they work well. The problem is that their set up is very complicated and steers you towards using their app which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing since I like their app, it makes changing color temperature way more intuitive and easy than HomeKit makes it, but if you're adding the bulb to HomeKit afterward there's obviously a compatibility issue between the two clouds that causes every bulb I have from Lifx to intermittently decide to not respond. The only way I could get these to a workable situation was to factory reset all of them and add them only to HomeKit which, by the way, was also a pain. I would have to try each bulb around 5 times before I could get it to connect so overall a big time suck. And, now, I have to just guess color temperature in HomeKit instead of using their App to adjust it which I would ideally actually like to use.Overall, is there a better one for the price? Probably not, nanoleaf was too dim and philips is a rip off. Hopefully these kinds of software issues go away once once the new standard is adopted.
