Great color and print quality, and worked right out the box!
I was really anxious about this printer, since my mini polaroid prints really washed out shots and a lot of reviews for this also remarked on color inaccuracy, but I'm not having that problem at all. My photos all look great!! The Death Valley one only looks a little washed out because the actual original photo was on a super bright day and is also lighter, so even that printed as I expected. Picture clarity is great, too! I wish I'd gotten this instead of the Polaroid in the first place. There's definitely some noise involved in printing as it slides the paper back and forth to work on each layer, but it's not too bad, and the speed is fine. The printer is a little bigger than I was expecting from reviews, which I should have expected - unlike the rest of me, my hands are much smaller than the average adult lol. It's not as long as my phone, but it's about 2.5 times as thick as my phone in a silicone case, so I wouldn't feel safe walking around carrying it in my hand, but it would still fit well even in pretty small bags so long as you don't have a giant wallet. It still takes up like a sixth of the room of a Polaroid camera, though, so it's still a huge space saver! The only hiccup I had is that I was trying to connect to it through Bluetooth *before* setting up the app, thinking pairing it would make the app setup go smoother. Wrong. After wasting way too much time turning Buetooth off and on on my phone, turning the device off and on like a dozen times, and restarting my phone twice, all with no successes... I finally turned on the app instead, and boom. Instant connectivity, no problem. Didn't need to pair at all, so I wasted an hour for nothing but to exemplify my own foolishness. Ah, well.

Cartridges may be a little expensive, but it is a lovely practical printer
Good quality of pictures, easy to use and to change the cartridges. It connects with phone easily, you can have in no time little, cute picture memories in every moment.

Awesome new style Polaroid
Absolutly amazing I love this thing. Its print quality is actually pretty good. The color was pretty good all tho I will say you will have to mess with the lighting alittle. But the app is a pretty good app to work with. And the print capacity is pretty good I’d say.

Great printer but twitchy app
I needed a small printer for my new bonsai journal. I have a fujifilm instamax that works okay but the image quality isn't great when photographing small items. So I starting shopping around. This printer has the smaller photos but with the same detail as the images on my phone. I am actually really impressed with the photo quality. The only drawback is the app. It can be quite frustrating on occasion. It frequently disconnects from Bluetooth or cannot locate the printer. It's not a deal breaker for me since I am not usually in a hurry when working on this journal, but I would like them to try and improve the app. I'd likely print a lot more pictures if I didn't have to repetitively close and reopen the app to print one photo. Also I have given up on trying to use their image borders other than the white. If I try to add any of the decorative borders the app crashes and I have to start all over. This is a new purchase for me so I will update if anything changes in the near future.

Kodak Customer Service Saved It
Original Review: I gave it 1 star. Wouldn’t recommend. I’ve had it less than a year, using it every now and then. The battery doesn’t last, half of my photo pages have been wasted because it will turn off halfway through the print or they misprint and half gets cut off. Not worth it especially if you want something that lasts. New Review: The Kodak team reached out to me upon seeing my review and determined my printer to be defective based on the issues happening with it. They sent me a shipping label to send it back and once I shipped it out, they sent me a replacement. The new one works better and seems to be doing good so far.

Great printer, great customer service
Great travel size and prints very close to the color of the photo from my phone. The Kodak app has some editing capabilities so that’s cool. My first printer was defective, it was printing with a white line down the photo no matter what cartridge I put in. Amazon had me go through the seller and they quickly confirmed it was defective and replaced the unit. Glad I got the replacement unit, this printer is going to be really nice for scrapbooking and sending my friends and family photos

Fantastic Little Printer
I've had this printer for roughly 6 months as of writing this review, and I've used it countless times since I've purchased it. I absolutely love this printer. It's super easy to connect and use through your phone. You can print any photo from your phone, the cartridges are easy to replace, and the battery life is great. I take this little printer with me whenever I take a trip or go on a vacation as a way to still be able to print photos on the go.

Great for on the go, quality is a bit soft
I shoot with a Sony a7r5, Almost exclusively night photography I got the printer in hopes of using it to make personalized business cards on the go. Overall print quality is 6-7/ 10 Prints come out more yellow magenta, (possibly to resemble a vintage Polaroid look?) Textures are often gone, (think fabrics on jeans, hair strands getting smoothed out) maybe this to add a beauty effect to portraits ? Blacks come out smudgy (seems to be the downfall of small printers) Sharpness is turned way down, id say the image is softened around 30% ? Eas of use 10/10 The start up, ease of use is probably the quickest and easiest I’ve ever printed on, printer had battery ink an paper right out of the box, simply download the app Turn on printer Connect Bluetooth And 2 clicks on the app you have it printing Battery and ink are not an all day or large project deal. This printer isn’t ment for big jobs (though you could ) it shines in the fact that it’s shorter than most phones and as tall as a wallet With prints costing around 40c I’d say it’s a great alternative if you want a better experience than a Polaroid camera It won’t replace a home printer or give out professional level prints, however it’s beyond easy to use and would make a great gift to an older person or young child Overal I’d

Easy installation. Ready to print in a couple minutes. Prints really nice credit card size photos. I'm happy with it.

Excellent little device! Quick and easy to use. Photo quality is excellent although not quite as good as if professionally printed...I really don't think that matters tho as the size of the photos is small. As a sewer, I use it to print instant photos of my projects to put in my workbook/scrapbook and it is wonderful for this. Perfect size photos for wallets/purses. Charge seems to last a decent time and it is small enough to carry around with you, tho I'd kerp it on a flat surface whilst printing.

I tried out the KODAK Mini 2 Retro for the first time yesterday, and I'm honestly hooked. I used it as part of my letter-writing hobby—printed a few snapshots to tuck into notes I was sending to friends in Kansas and Melbourne, Australia. It added such a personal feel, and the prints came out beautifully vibrant and crisp. It's compact, super easy to use, and the included photo paper means you can get started right out of the box. There's a bit of a pause needed after printing a handful, but it didn't really bother me. For something this convenient and satisfying, it's absolutely worth it. Feels like the perfect bridge between digital moments and real-life mementos.

Very convenient and good quality prints :) The only cons are that the app mentioned in the manual is invalid - you should download the Kodak Photo Printer app instead - and that the printer batter drains very quickly. Overall, a good buy!!!

The printer worked well for the first few prints. Then the printer started causing damage to the corner of the photos, followed by constant paper jams in different stages of the printing. I speculate that a faulty or badly constructed part of the device was causing the bottom corner of the paper to get caught on something - causing the paper jams. The print quality was really good - but it's useless if the printer doesn't work at all, do not recommend this product at all.
