Quality
This is very well made and very sturdy, held a Shure SM58 microphone perfectly in place

Well made flexible arm which isn't too flexible so won't bend unless a lot of force is used, perfect :-).The hole size up the middle will accept 6mm.

Reliable gooseneck for microphone
Can be bent easily to 90 degrees or a little more, using moderate force. It stays where you put it. Locks firmly to the stand and the microphone clip without swinging about. Some rust staining at one end of the plastic bag in which it was sealed, but this seems to be from the robust iron spring at the core, not the chrome outer parts.

High quality product - perfect for ceiling mounted microphones.
I brought this product to use as a ceiling mounted drum overhead mic stand. It works perfectly and is great for saving studio floor space. Product was high quality and worked as expected. Would recommend it!

Nice and stiff
Wanted something that would not bend when horizontal with heavy mic on it. Was not disappointed.

high quality product however the inner steel spring is way too stiff and i cannot use it

Too stiff and sturdy
There is a difficult balance between being stiff enough to stay in position and flexible enough to get it into position. I may just have weak hands, but I found this too sturdy to position accurately.I probably should have returned it, live and learn!I found the Mini Ball Head Tripod Ballhead Mounts much more useful for purposes - these can be positioned accurately, easily repositioned and tightened firmly into position, albeit a bit more fiddly to use
