Easy to breathe and comfortable

Many people buy cloth masks with nice designs or logos. These masks are great for protecting others but they do little to protect the person who wears them. You know this intuitively because the fit is not snug and air seeps through all around the top and sides. Similarly the blue paper disposable masks that you see everywhere are great for protecting others but they don't do much to protect you because it is easy for droplets to penetrate them. Similarly the Chinese made KN95 masks do not fit well (poor quality control) and thus do not protect YOU. These KN94 masks were recommended by medical professionals in a recent NYT article. They are made to spec in South Korea where they have been used for years to protect YOU - the person who wears the mask - against the flu and other ailments. You know this as soon as you put the mask on your fact because the seal is tight. The mask seals tight on your face, which means that it will be difficult for COVID droplets to go around the sides of the mask. The mask is made of flax which is also better at stopping droplets than those cheap blue paper masks and cloth masks. This is the only mask that fits so tight that my sunglasses do not immediately fog up when I breath out. That's a sign of a good fit. The only better masks are the N95 masks with vents that are made by 3M. They have a super tight fit because they use two loops around the back of your head instead of the ear loops. Unfortunately those 3M masks have been impossible to find since the pandemic began and many airlines do not allow them due to the vents. So do yourself and your loved ones a favor. Stop buying cheapo paper masks made in China and spend a few $$ more for these high quality masks. You will see the quality difference as soon as you open it, and it may save your life.

*As of 20 October 2020, South Korea has lifted a ban on exporting KF94 masks due to a domestic mask shortage. The ban was lifted after a notice in stabilisation in the country's supply and demand. (Do not rely on this information given in asterisk. Practice due negligence and do your own research). I purchased this 10-Pack of KN FLAX KF94 masks to replace the AirQueen masks that I first bought. The seller of these masks are from FLAX - PROTECTION HEALTH & BEAUTY, and shipped quite quickly (shipped without Amazon Prime). Once the masks arrived, I sanitised each individual packaging with alcohol prep wipes and inspected each individual packaging for signs of tampering or manufacturing errors (TIP: If you buy a mask that is Made in Korea, you can check the individual packages (1 unopened mask) and gently press on it both sides on a flat surface, if there is no "little bubble of air" the packaging may be opened, contaminated or has been tampered in a way. In this case, all 10 individual masks are all sealed and have not been tampered with. Overall, the packaging seems to be genuine; the obvious is that it is individually wrapped compared to counterfeits where all the masks are packed together into one plastic wrapper, there is no "fuzziness" to indicate photocopying, there is a perforation at the top to tear and take the mask out to use instead of an "envelope style" opening as some Korean vloggers have seen buying fake Korean KF94 masks from Amazon, Ebay, and AliExpress. When this mask first sold on Amazon, the packaging and labels were in Korean, however, were changed to English when demands in the US were increasing (Korean version will be sold in South Korea). One the back of the mask packaging, down at the bottom, "까지" (gga ji) usually means "good until", which can mean that this is an expiration date. However, since the packaging is sealed well, there is no need to worry about using a sealed mask that has a past expiration date. The three-fold design that most Korean face masks usually have is favourable, which makes it easy to fold and store when not in use. It also moulds to your face since the top and bottom portion cover your nose and chin. The middle part that covers the mouth has a bit more room to help you breathe easier and to prevent your mouth from coming in contact with the surface layer of the mask, a plus for those who wear lip balm, lip stick, or makeup. The mask seals very well, limiting the amount of air escaping, thus which means less fogging for those who wear glasses or sunglasses. When breathing with the mask, the air inside does get a little hot, but there is no moisture build up. There is are certain characteristics to knowing this a KF94 mask as well; KF94 masks have four layers of protection compared to three with surgical masks, when pressing on this mask, the mask does not make any crinkle sounds compared to surgical and counterfeit masks that do make noticeable crinkle sounds, ear loops are on the front instead of on the back (although depending on the brand of the mask, some KF94 masks have ear loops that come from the back). The mask can be reused but are not washable. TIP: If you need to sanitise the mask, fill an empty spray bottle (preferably one that creates mist like a facial spray or toner spray) with 50% distilled water and 50% rubbing alcohol and spray about 10cm away from the mask, and once done hang the mask to air dry, preferably in an indoor area that gets sunlight. Overall, I love this mask, it's not perfect for me, but it does what it needs to do. Ever since switching from AirQueen to KN FLAX, I have been testing regularly to see if this mask is effective or not. So far, there are no issues with this mask.

After a long recovery from back surgery that required wearing a face mask whenever I was around people, I found this mask and was amazed at how much better the fit was and how much more comfortable than any other mask I'd tried. Very fairly priced. Highly recommended

En la descripcion dice "Hecho en Corea" y cuando llego, el paquete dice "Hecho en China". Busqué en particular a proposito mascaras DE COREA porque son reales, garantizados, y estas no son, estas son una version pirata no reguladas. Aparte están hechos chuecos y chafas, y a los 10 minutos de ponerme una, se rompió. Ahora pasar todo el lio de la devolución, es muy aghghghghgh. No mientan en sus descripciones, por favor!
