I've been using this hand scale for well over a year now and it has not failed me when weighing primarily sea creatures during and after my fishing adventures. This scale measures in lbs, oz, and kg. It also has a built in tape measure to measure the length of your catch! The display is big, bright, and very easy to read! The scale makes a sound when it is locked into the weight of the item. This scale can read anything as long as it has something to hook onto. I also use this to weigh my luggage prior to a trip to tell me how heavy my bags are.

I like the fact it works right out of the gate and worked as described. I dislike the fact there is no warranty implied or other, if you don't return it within the time limits, it's yours working or not.

I got this one because it is somewhat waterproof. Not that I expected it to get wet, I'd just rather not have to worry about it if I am working outside in the rain. Super simple to use, it remembers your last settings. Seems to be pretty sturdy too. My only regret is not getting one with a greater weight range. That's my fault, not the scale's.

I've set this up on a hook with a big water tub hanging off it. The scale zero's out and I can then put the hay in the tub and get an accurate measurement of hay in pounds in about 5 seconds! Perfect solution for accurately weighing hay for horses (2% of their body weight). Have had this for about 3 mo and the batteries are still going strong despite the cold temps here in VT. Easy to set up. Reliable. Highly recommend for ease of use and accuracy. Did not answer the water resistance questions as that does not apply here.

This thing is sweeeeeet! It’s accurate it weights in oz, kg, lbs it can weight 3 different fish to give one total weight. It’s big bright easy to find, water proof and comes with a nice carrying pouch. It takes 2 double A batteries and also came with a small screw driver to remove the screws to install the new batteries that came with it! (Mine where dead but no big deal) I have the olderModel Mr.Meter also and it’s done great so I’m sure this one will treat me good to.

The media could not be loaded. I am pumped to put this scale to work this year! The scale is well crafted, and has the 39" tape measure built in. I would have no concern on water getting into the battery compartment, but the tape measure seal is a bit loose to be watertight I would think. No concern with freshwater getting in there, but saltwater could cause some issues in the tape assembly. A light up display is nice for night fishing, and display is super clear to read. I had concerns with the construction of the scale before it got here, but this thing feels sturdy. No flex in the housing at all, and handle stays firm. Overall I would say this is a great addition to any anglers gear!

This scale reads fairly accurately towards the higher range that it says it measures. I've tested it on calibrated eleiko plates in order to gauge how accurate the reading is when I'm out on the surf. It read .5 pounds under at a 45-pound plate but for the price, you cannot complain since you won't be using this for IGFA certifications. The IPX7 rating seems a bit misleading because there are multiple points where water can get in and ruin the electronics even with some spray. But you shouldn't be hanging this off of your belt in the water since it's not a Boga grip.

These scales work fine. The problem was that the cover that keeps water out from the tape measure has a cap on it that would not close. I need something that was water tight so I returned it.
