The chair is sturdy and didn't collapse under my 390lbs. The problem is, if your making a heavy duty chair why not make it wide enough for heavy people. I had a very hard time getting out of this chair. My thighs were squeezed against the arm rests so much I could hardly push myself out alone. I could have eaten my pride and called my wife for help but sometimes she wont be there. Also the back is very low so it doesn't give any support. That said I didn't measure between the arm rests, but I'm sure someone has. On the plus side the chair is good looking and very sturdy. The chair was double wrapped and took a while to get out of the boxes. I guess it was a returned item and I got a discount for that. It was in excellent condition. Bottom line is if you are a wide load this is not the chair for you. I love my Kilaro XXL, that I bought on Amazon.

Says right on the tag "weight capacity 225 lbs." Use at your own risk. Giving it two stars because otherwise it looks like a nice chair.

The chair is excellent, exactly as described. My husband says it is very comfortable and is sturdy so he feels safe. However, it is almost impossible to fold. I am an eighty year old woman and it takes all my strength to fold the chair. Once folded it is light enough to carry easily, but folding it is difficult. I release the hinges, then grasp the seat and push HARD. THen I take a nap.

This chair is substantial and holds big me comfortably. It's also nice looking, folds up, heavy fabric, and cushioned armrests too. All good. My only disappointment is that it is really a bit too heavy/bulky to carry around with you which was my intent, as in carry on a bus or train to an outdoor film or concert. However, I'm putting it in my car trunk and will be glad to have it when driving to events.

The listing says 400 pounds, the chair says 350 pounds. It seems well built and heavy-duty. I was surprised at how wide it is.

Initially the chair looked well made, however, the chair will not open and the weight limit on the label is 50 pounds less than the advertised limit. I will be returning the chair.
