Nice shower drain cover! It fit without any problem and catches hair much better than the standard plastic drain cover I had. This one is stainless steel, making it easier to clean, stay clean, and last longer. ShowerShroom may have perfected how removable drain covers work. I was having trouble with drain blockage from my family's long hair, requiring frequent Drano and plunger sessions. Since I started using this ShowerShroom, all I need to do is lift it out, tap it into the trash bin, and move on. The item presents well, functions even better, and is made of materials that give me confidence it'll last a long time. For the price, I feel like I got a good deal.

We bought this specifically for when we bathe our two Golden Retrievers in our walk-in shower. My fault for misunderstanding the concept - I did not realize that this requires you to remove the existing drain, which we did not want to do. However, we found that it still works for our purpose by simply turning it upside down ("hump up") and placing it over the drain during the shower. Water drains quickly, and it catches an amazing amount of hair, which is easily removed afterward.

Love this drop- in shower drain catcher. No equipment needed. Standard size. Works well to stop hair clogs. The center pops out with hair intact. Easy to clean and pops back in with little effort. I would recommend this 100 times over other products.

For folks with tubs that either don't have good drain protection or one at all, this product does exactly what it claims: allows water to drain while catching most of the hair lost during bathing/showering. It's extremely easy to clean and has no maintenance beyond that. You just put into the drain and let it work. The only caveat is that it does require frequent cleaning; if you let it sit, it will still work but you'll have standing water while you shower. As I wrote above, cleaning is quick and easy: you just remove the protector, lift out the rubber part and remove the hair, then place the rubber part back into the product and place it all back in the tub drain. Takes all of 20 seconds to do.

I am very impressed with the design of this. It sits right in the drain and catches all your hair and anything else that may have fallen in the tub. When done taking a shower~ you just lift the little black rubber part out from the strainer and the contents just comes right off. There’s no trying to fish hair clumps from holes or struggling to get the strainer clean. The hair just slides right off the black rubber piece and you replace it back in the center of the strainer. Literally takes seconds to clean. Such a wonderful purchase, absolutely recommend.

I am not an expert on showers or plumbing by any means, but I am quite sure that the shower drain in my apartment is above average size. This has made it super difficult to find a drain catcher/strainer that fits nicely and prevents my very long hair from going down the drain and clogging it. Unfortunately, this shower shroom is just too small for my drain- it does not stay put nor prevents hair and other items to pass under the sides of it. While it helps a little bit in filtering large items, I find myself getting more annoyed with the upkeep of hair removal from my drain, which is the point of my purchase of this product. Again, it very well could be just a flaw in the design of the shower, but I do wish this product was a bit more useful; I had high hopes for this one as I swear by other Shroom products.

I have installed it in all bathrooms and it is a game changer! Catches and completely stops all hair types from sneaking into the drainage. No clogging at all. Even have it in the kitchen sink (without the central rubber knob) Very much recommended.

This item does its job, just as described: it fits perfectly and captures all hair in a swirl around the plastic center, while the water has plenty of holes to run away. I'm 100% satisfied (am even considering to buy a spare one).

We just moved into a new house and the old shower drain was on the side by the sink. When we put it back in the water didn’t drain too we’ll see we bought this product. Absolutely brilliant. Very good at trapping hair and easy to clean. Fitted like a dream and it allows the water to flow easily. Would recommend
