I was skeptical but for the price I figured it was worth a try. To my surprise, it works exactly as advertised. It catches hair and the hair wraps neatly around the rubber insert so it's easy to dispose of. Water drains quickly from the shower stall--no standing water and no clogs. Good product.

Works just as you would want. It was very easy to install this in the shower drain, and fit perfectly. Having very long hair, I have always had issues with shower drains getting clogged, but after months of use, I'm pleased to share that this product is a life saver. The little mushroom catches everything & is simple to keep clean. I definitely recommend this product.

This is a simple two-piece design for effectively catching hair in the shower. It’s a simple two-piece design that catches the hair around a rubbery spool-like part. You just lift this out, wipe away the hair, and drop it back into the metal part that sits in the shower drain. It doesn’t affect the way the water flows down the drain and installation was literally only two minutes, if that. The hardest part was opening the package.This is the second one I’ve purchased because we have a naughty puppy in the house and she helped herself to the tempting rubbery center piece and had a very fun afternoon.Alas, without the delightfully chewy middle piece, the hair catcher doesn’t work as well.So I had to get a new one. Not a big deal, since it wasn’t too expensive and now I keep the bathroom door closed so the puppy isn’t tempted to snack on the hair catcher again.

This works quite well. It completely covers the drain, lays flat and I don't notice it when I'm in the shower. The water flows through it easily. It's very easy to clean. You just pop out the black center piece and remove hair that has wrapped around it.

I have a standard 60 inch alcove bath tub from home depot, and the drain has a metal cross that prevents things like rings from being lost in the drain. that metal cross prevents me from getting a standard hair strainer because i can only put something like less than one inch deep/height. this strainer was a life saver because it fits , maybe half inch deep, and works super well, better than any hair catcher used in the past. hair gets trapped in the middle slot and some along the metal grids, i estimate that it catches >90% of hair, which is the best performing strainer I have ever used. one of my best purchases for the bathroom in 2025. happy that i tried this even though it's meant for shower

Fit perfectly. Catches a lot of hair. Seems to work great. Easy to clean and rinse off. Overall very happy with this

It’s easy to install and the water drains quickly however this product does not stay in place so you have to be very careful not to kick it around or step on it. Other than that it would’ve gotten a five star rating
