barkOutfitters Service Dog Collar - Medium (Red, Medium)

This is a great collar! It is large enough that, especially in the heat of summer, we can leave the service dog harness in the car and still represent our dog's situation. Of course, we generally use the harness and barkOutfitters has a great selection. But it is nice to be able to take a spontaneous walk about our neighborhood and not have to fully "gear up" every time. Our dog finds this collar to fit comfortably. It stays in place, keeps his tags in place, and doesn't get in his way when he is eating or drinking water. It is easy to keep clean and looks very professional.I oversee a program that gets affordable service dogs to children who need emotional-behavioral support (like Autism, Asperger's, Down's Syndrome, anxiety, depression, ADHD, Tourette's, etc). It is really important that I can count on the service dog equipment to be top quality for a fair price. This can be harder than you think as there is no size continuity between manufacturers and the quality can really vary. You have to measure your dog to make sure you get the right fit. My son's service dog is a Chuggle (chihuahua-beagle-pug combo), so he is tiny but his head is smaller than his neck and he has a funny little sausage body. He needs a medium sized jacket and a small collar. Since the manufacturers size and design cuts vary, buying his gear can be a frustrating experience that can include lots of returns and exchanges.barkOutfitters does a great job with stocking good quality products and answering questions in a timely manner. They do their best to make sure we get the exact gear we need for our dog. They are friendly, honest and informative. I recommend barkOutfitters to our clients and they are all very happy with the products and service. Altogether I have bought 5 or 6 items from barkOutfitters and am happy with each one.

It's thin, but I only use it in public.I don't use a cape, because it is too hot in summer. I have tags and badges all over my Service Dogs harness, yet people still insist they had NO idea she is a Service Dog (even in a grocery store) and pet her, try to play with her, talk to her and basically distract her. She tries to get away from them and they actually get mad that my dog won't socialize with them!This works great. I put it over her regular collar so it stands out and people show more respect now.So glad I bought this. The white letters on dark red really stand out.

Nice for service dogs to wear in summer time when it is hot....trouble is ever one wants it....some people take it when you are not looking....yes i buy this all the time when this has happened.

I only gave this a 3 because when I made it small enough to fit my dog, you really cant read the lettering. It is well made however

Collar was way to small, and very thin/flimsy. Leash was worse, it broke on second use, this is a cocker spaniel service dog, so there was no pulling, twisting or harsh use on it., It literally frayed and separated in the fabric part. When I contacted seller, I got no response by email, so I left feedback, they sure got to me fast then and weren't exactly good in terms of customer service. I don't recommend these items at all. I am extremely dissatisfied with both product as well as seller.

Good but not very bright. Stiching isn't really as clean as I'd like but readable. It's a good back up collar. Soft and good for a smaller dog.

This Collar is really visible and fits my dog really well. It doesn’t seem to rub or bother her and that is very important because she has to wear it continuously. I recommend it very much.

Most of the stitching is already coming loose. My last collar that lasted 8 years has no stitching issues and the onlyreason I replaced it is due to fading from the sun.
