It keeps the water warm for a long time!
I've been using this bottle in bed during winter, and it keeps me warm all night. However, I replaced the included knit cover because it wasn't thick enough and caused some hot spots when filled with boiling water (which isn't recommended.). Overall I'm quite happy with this bottle and would recommend it to anyone.
