The bag is lighter than my black/red Swiss Gear bag, nice coloring that matches most any attire, fits in any setting, has plenty of pockets to store all gear. This is my 5th Swiss Gear bag due to dependability and price.

It is slimline so it isn't as bulky but you need to watch out putting your bag down with a laptop because the bottom doesn't have any padding.

I was really excited to see a somewhat high quality item with non-metal zipper handles from a reputable brand. I HATE zipper clinking noises while I walk, so I'm always on the lookout for something like this and I thought I found the perfect budget backpack...I was wrong.First, I'm not sure what's up with all the good reviews, but this is one of the worst backpacks I've ever purchased. first, the material is WAY too loud. It crinkles like cheap vinyl. Every muscle you move in your body will make the material scream. And when you're loading it, hopefully you're alone because you will annoy any human within 20 feet of you with just how noisy this backpack is.Second, there is virtually no bottom support. If you put anything remotely dense in the main compartment, it will sag low at the bottom of the backpack and look like your backpack has a hemorrhoid or something sticking out of it's bum. There is no protection for the bottom of the backpack and when you set it on the ground, the first thing hitting is whatever somewhat heavy you have in your backpack.Third, the side water bottle holders are WAY too big. Nothing ever stays in there other than huge 30 oz tumblers. Want to put a 16 oz water bottle in there? Too bad, it's now rolling on the floor.So many flaws that make this backpack incredibly frustrating to use. And I feel like it's not a subjective or personal flaw of mine, just poor design and implementation. I expected WAY better from SwissGear.I gave it 2/5 stars because I actually did feel like it was comfortable to wear. Straps are very good for the price, but that's it's only redeeming quality, other than nylon zipper pulls, which are top notch.
