Fun, Age Appropriate Prompts
This was exactly what we were looking for to keep practicing our writing skills over the summer for our soon to be third grader. My son and I flipped through a couple of pages and he actually seemed excited to get started.

Actually entices a child to write!
The writing prompts are really fun and engaging for my 7 and 8 year olds. As a homeschooling mom, I struggled to get them to do thier writing assignments...this completely changed their attitude and now writing is fun and they look forward to it. Would recommend to anyone homeschooling or using as supplemental material.

So thoughtfully written!
As an educator and mother, I can not wait for my kids to dig in and journal away! The fine mix of social emotional, opinion, expository, and narrative prompts will excite and inspire your young writer. The organization of the book, as well as consideration given to lefties, is so thoughtful. Fantastic work, Creativity Builders!

Good Writing Workbook
Here is a really cool book about writing prompts for kids in grades 1 to 3. It teaches creative, expository, and option writing. It also proposes various questions to think and write about. I think this is a good book for learning to write different kinds of prompts. Reading also helps improve writing skills, and a good resource is the Beestar website. If you like this book, please consider the book in the series.

Really fun and cute
I got this for my 7 year old who has struggled with reading and writing, I wanted him to have something to do during the summer besides reading practice. Its definitely something to keep for years to show him when he's older. My dog spilled coffee on this one so I ordered another.
