KIT & COCO Head Lice & Nits Complete Treatment & Prevention Spray

This is a good bit of kit, but in all honesty my child have not had any lice for me to effectively test the treatment on but I have tried the shampoo just to see what it is like. The shampoo smells lovely and was nice to use so would feel happy to use this whenever the may come to have to treat an infestation. Doesn't contain any harsh chemicals so would be interesting to see how effective a more natural treatment is.Kit consists of : Treatment shampoo, preventive spray, nit comb and treatment cap (basically a shower cap)I have used the preventative spray and can see why this would work because it smells horrible and nothing like the shampoo which is disappointing. Granted it does wear off over time but personally I am not keen. My child hasn't had any lice problems but if i'm honest the class at school hasn't had any this year because most of the time the school was closed and I think this could have reduced headlice over all. The comb is excellent, comfortable and easy to use, the teeth are tightly packed but still able to get a good glide through, much prefer this to my existing comb from a popular brand because that one is too tight and breaks hair.This kit is a little expensive at just over £27 (at the time of writing this review), I haven't bought many kits over the years but certainly don't remember them being this expensive although this set does include a good quality and effective comb. I have always sworn by heavy conditioning and combing as a means to avoid chemical treatment, some of which are ineffective anyway but given that this is a more natural product it is worth trying.

The shampoo claims to have a 100% success rate. The shampoo is a coconut-based product, so the putrid stench of nit lotion is a thing of the past with this product. Although the preventative spray stinks! We used the comb in the interest of the review but in all honesty, we have a different comb which works a lot better.I would recommend the product as it will eradicate headlice and kill off the eggs.

Used this on my little girl when she caught nits. And it works! You get everything in the box that you need. You even get a cap to protect your child's clothing.Shes hair sore and she didn't moan once while using the brush that came with it too. While combing through her hair I even got a few nits out (they was dead) thanks to the shampoo.Doesn't smell either so no one even knows your child as even had the shampoo in. So easy to use and wash out.I will be getting this again if or when I need it to do my little girls hair. Fab shampoo! Can't recommend it enough.Arrived on time.

This is a great product. My sons class always asked us the parent to wash their hair Because classes mate has the lice on his head.Having this was a big relief. It work perfectly well and give a complete treatment for my son hair. The spray in the package is additional help for prevention.I am very pleased with it and I do recommend it.

This product appears to be great, I have two kids of school age so got this to have in the cupboard ready for when we need it!The fact its silicone free is a massive plus for me as I really dislike any kind of harsh chemicals.Upon reading the other reviews I am hoping when the time comes to use this it'll be fairly easy and efficient to use!

Whilst it's too early to comment on it's VERY bold '100% effective' claim, I can comment on how well it was received by our little ones. The main product, is a coconut based cream, which does not have any of the eye-watering chemical stink of other products, they quite enjoyed the process of working it in and letting it sit for a little bit so it wasn't a battle to use. I'm not sure exactly how it is supposed to be as effective as claimed when it doesn't contain any of the aggressive ingredients, but I'm hopeful that it is effective. The included 'prevention' spray is a bit of a polar opposite, it has a strong chemical odour, but one that you can quickly get used to. The star of the show was the really high quality comb, with a really ergonomic moulded handle and long smooth steel prongs that are really useful.

Got a friend to try this out on their child who had head lice, and it seemed to work fine, having waited a week now to check, it's gone and stayed that way! So definitely effective in that respect.The prevention spray smells, but did avoid my children from catching it, so worth the smell in order to not catch it.Also comes with a comb, which is well made and effective at combing out the eggs.If you suspect headlice is going around, yes, get yourself this!

We are only using the prevention spray at the moment as there have been ongoing outbreaks of nits at school. So far so good. I really like the smell and I am happy to use something that is preventative and without any nasty chemicals. I hope we don't have to use the nit treatment!
