Amazon Brand - Movian Sarnen, Set of 2 Bar Stools, 52 x 41.5 x 115 cm (L x W x H), Dark grey

I took my previous 4 bar stools back to Argos as 3 were going down on their own whilst sat on them. (I'm less than 100Kg so not excessive weight.... I don't think so anyway!)So after some research I went for these Amazon branded bar stools. Because of my previous problems I also took out the additional warranty cover Amazon offered, but I'm now thinking this was a waste of money as the stools seem very good quality compared to my old ones.The silver base is smaller than my previous stools so I was worried about them tipping easily, but they are perfectly stable and don't feel like they will ever tip.For me, the material cover on the seat is much nicer than PU leather, although the leather option is much better when you have cats & children, easier to wipe clean.The stools were very easy to assemble, 8 bolts to fit for each chair and tools provided.The only slight negative is the width of the chair seat section (appx 43cm), I'm just about comfortable although I'd prefer it if the width was a couple of centimetres wider. But saying that, they fit a lot better in my kitchen being more compact compared to my old ones, and the rest of my family like them.All in all, I'm more than happy with the quality and style of the chairs so far and would recommend them.

Bought 4, was about 117 quid I think, wasn't expecting much as very similar ones were like 80 for 1 chair.Boy was I wrong! have spent many any evening on them with friends and family, easy to put together, so comfy, swivels nicely, up and down smooth, looks classy, great colour, definitely one of my best buys.

At first it seemed a little counter-intuitive to purchase an Amazon brand item that was almost twice the price of some of the similar offerings. However, I'm glad I did. They assembled very easily - it took me less than fifteen minutes to assemble the two. They seem to be very solid and well made plus they're really comfortable and look great in my new kitchen (apologies for the newly plastered wall in the background - not had time to get a paintbrush out yet). I am more than happy to recommend based on early impressions.

Easy to assemble and look really stylish. We had a limited space for 2 stools next to each other. These fit perfectly - excellent buy.

A lovely pair of stools. I am such an ignoramus that I felt clever after putting it together with only the sketch which came with it. Be careful with the fabric upholstery. I touched the backrest with oily fingers and soiled it. So I got a pair of Primani pillow cases of the same colour for £2.70 and pulled it over the backrest and seat. It gives a snug fit. Mine is in my small kitchen so I have to move them out of the way when I am cooking. To showoff I will just slip the covers off when Miss Covid permits guests.

Very impressed with these.They arrive in 5 parts and either clip or bolt together with the 8 bolts provided and hex key.All in all it took me less than 10 minutes to assemble both.One word of warning, on the actual gas lift mechanism you MUST remove the plastic protective cap before assembly.The height adjustment is nice and easy, the seats are comfortable and stylish and at least a third cheaper than similar ones I've seen in high street shops.

The chairs are super, easy to assemble, very comfortable and easy to adjust. I would recommend the product.
