Great Toy!
I bought these for my grandchildren after they showed interest in them at the St Louis Magic House. They were fascinated with them. The cards showed various ways to demonstrate “floating” magnets. This simplistic “toy” has resulted in hours of entertainment.

It's good
That's exactly as stated comes with cards that sit in a slot you can put them down in the slot to be able to try to make the patterns I got it for my food with autism he likes playing with the magnets more than attempting the patterns but I highly recommend it's really good

Great magnets, great price
I admit found these magnets mostly for a "craft" project ... I needed round magnets to make "fishing rods" for a fishing game at our preschool fair. I thought they were cute and a good price since I only needed the 10. I also wanted them "kid friendly" and like that they're colorful but not painted in case youngers put them in their mouths. For that, they have been PERFECT.Bonus, since we had the first set in the house for a while before I made the rods, now I'm buying a set to keep. Not their favorite toy but they do come out periodically and, when they do, I always get a "Hey, look what I did!" So, I've realized, we all like having "play" magnets in the house. Kids can play the game(s) as designed or use them for other projects and experiments. These are pretty, colorful, fun, educational. The cards and storage add a major bonus versus some of the basic magnet sets and I personally like rings ... you can tie onto things, stack easily on rod or pencil, etc.Good product, great price.BTW, can't tell yet about durability but will update if they crash and burn at some point. I do imagine they could break (esp hard plastic colored covers) but we've had several 3-4 foot falls onto hard tile floor already with no ill effects.

Perfect for the price
A great product that I couldn't be happier with for the price.Pros:Clear and easy to use with multiple experiments for students or children to try.Colorful magnets make the visuals more interestingEasy to use and set upGreat cost for what you getCons:Plastic is plastic. I have high concerns of the stand breaking and or the magnets covers being broken. Long term durability is an issue under heavy use in classroom setting. For my use case I probably want a higher production version of this item that is far more durable for heavy class use. However for the cost I regret nothing and think it is going to greatly improve my Electricity and Electronics module I teach.

Kids love Magnets
This was a hit at school. Would be better if it came with 2 stick stands.

Big hit at our house!
What a great find! I stumbled across a recommendation for the Magnetic Match Rings on a mommy blog, and -- as I was in the market for magnetic exploration toys -- "ran" right over and ordered one. I purchased it for my 3 year old (to entertain her while I homeschool her 5 yr. old sister), but I will say that she's a little young for it. She can do a great many of the cards without my help, but as far as setting it up and resetting after each card, she requires assistance. My 5 year old also enjoys it and is able to play with it more independently. I think it's a great learning toy; not only is my child learning about magnetic polarities, but there's the spatial visualization skills of seeing the card and transferring that pattern/orientation to the actual magnets. Throw in some fine motor skill practice (and "floating" objects to boot!) and you've got yourself one hit of a learning toy!
