Great doggy dryer!
Edit: I’ve had this dryer for a good long while now (like upwards of a couple years), and it’s still running great. If I had one complaint about it at all, it would be the frequency with which the air port at the back gets clogged with fur. It’s a high blow rate, so it’s also got a high intake rate, which, with Husky fur flying all over during a blowout, easily gets sucked back into the back of the unit. The foamy insert does make it pretty quick and easy to clean out, so even that isn’t enough to detract a star with all the great uses I’ve gotten out of it. I would still recommend this product to anyone in need of a quick way to dry their pooch or help blowout their coat! After reading the reviews on here, I was a little skeptical of this product. The first one I got worked fine, once. Then it wouldn’t turn on for me again at all. Amazon made the return super simple and instead of just getting a refund, I decided to give this product another go. The replacement got here super quick, and now I’ve had it for over a year, and it’s still going strong! I have three Huskies, so it does take a bit to dry them, but the power of this dryer helps immensely in blowing water out of their coats. The heater option is also great because it does help dry them faster, but I like to have the option to just have air so they don’t overheat. For what it is, this unit is surprisingly quiet. It’s still loud enough that my dogs aren’t the biggest fan of it, but the hose has great expansion, so they don’t have to be too close to the actual blower itself. The different attachments are also nice (although I mostly use the concentrated air one), and the filter isn’t hard at all to clean. With the power of the dryer, though, and how much fur goes flying when I dry my dogs, a lot of fur does get caught in the back. I have to clear it a couple of times through drying one dog.I will warn that fur goes flying absolutely everywhere. I would recommend using this product outside or in a small, easily cleaned space.Overall, I’m incredibly happy with this purchase, and very glad I gave this product another chance!

So Stinking Happy!
I highly recommend the Go Pet Dryer from Amazon! BEST 80 bucks that I have ever spent on my dog. Jet is a German Shepherd and sheds a lot, I mean A LOT. A while back I called the groomer and they wanted 80 bucks to bathe her and give her a good blowout. Well do this two or three times a year and it's pretty expensive, not that I mind spending Money on my girl, but that money could be used for a lot of other things for her, like bully sticks and Himalayan cheese! So I did some research and found this dryer on Amazon, it was a decent price and I found quite a few You Tube reviews and the Amazon reviews were pretty good too, so I bought it and it sat in the box until today. Jet has started to blow her summer coat so she was leaving big chunks of hair all over, and she was looking pretty ragged with all that fur hanging off her hind quarters waiting to be deposited on the carpet. So she got a bath and a blow out in the backyard! It took me a while to figure out how to hook up the hose because the instructions say that it is to be screwed on, but there are no threads, and it doesn't just pop on, so after a cigarette break and glass of Diet Pepsi, I went out and figured out that there was a clip that you need to loosen and then snap it into a groove to hold the hose on to the unit. Easy Peasy. Jet was mostly dry by now, or so I thought, until I started the unit up and started to blow her out. You can literally see the water that is close to the skin mist off your pet. The longer you dry the more fur that flies, I think we spent 45 mins blowing her out, and I think I'm going to do it again tomorrow. She is super soft and clean she just jumped on me and no fur on my clothes. You will have to use this outside or in a garage, but I warn you the fur flies EVERYWHERE! You will be covered in fur yourself! But no worries, you can blow it off yourself. I do recommend wearing glasses and a mask, the fur flies in your face. But yeah, you really need to get one. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that she hates vacuums and loud noises but did really well with this unit. She eventually just relaxed and enjoyed it a bit.

PERFECT home dryer for pets!
I purchased this thing back in 2015, it's 2023 and it's still works perfectly. Granted it's not as powerful as the K9 dryers at the grooming salon I work, but perfect for doing grooms or regular baths at home! I have taken it on many vacations to blow the sand not only off the dogs but to blow it off the beach equipment. I've used it to blow water off floor mats, dust faux houseplants and so on! Many working hours on this guy since 2015, and still kickin!

Great inexpensive dryer!
For the price, this is a very high functioning little dryer. I have used other very high end dryers and this one is obviously not as powerful, but surprisingly close. It would make an excellent backup dryer in a busy grooming salon for those dreaded times the dryer breaks down in the middle of Christmas, or an awesome home dryer. If someone gives a bad review because any dryer is too loud, forget what they say. No matter how they are made, all velocity dryers are going to be loud! The more powerful they are, the louder they will be. The majority of the sound doesn't come from the motor, it comes from the air hitting whatever it's hitting (usually the fur if a dog). If it's not loud, it's not a good dryer. The hose is actually quite soft and flexible compared to others I've used. I've tried this on two miniature poodles and it worked well. If you use it correctly, this dryer shouldn't be too strong for any dog. If you find it is 'blasting your dog off the table' just take the nozzle off, or hold it back away from the dog, or put it on low, or any combination, trust me the dog will be fine, don't be wimpy. If you have a really large heavy coated dog, you can expect it to take an afternoon to dry them, but it will do a pretty good job, and unless you're wiling to fork over $300-500 for a bigger dryer, this is the next best thing. I was very impressed to find such a good price on a good working dryer.

Good dryer for the price
I own a Metro Air Force dryer that I use at home and wanted a dryer that I could take to the dog shows. The two speed and heat settings are good(not as powerful as my Metro). The only complaint I have is that there is no warranty card, so I contacted GO PET CLUB and they told me that Amazon will cover any warranty issues that I have and that Amazon would also be able to obtain extra filters. The dryer comes with all the attachments that you need and also spare washable filters that are easy to change. On further examination I discovered that the Metro Air Force filters will fit so this is no longer an issue. Good dryer for the price, if you go to the GO PET CLUB web site the dryer lists at $199.99US so this is a good buy. Also I found that it fits well into the Wahl groomers bag that Amazon sells which is great for transporting and protecting the dryer.

Nice dryer but odd instructions
I just received this today as was very excited. Upon reading the instructions for use it states " Do not run dryer for more than 10 minutes at a time. Allow dryer to cool down before using again." Riddle me this........ How are you suppose to dry a dog, even a small one, in 10 minutes at a time? Anyways... I used it until the dog was dry with no issues. It's quiet and powerful. The low heat setting worked well and kept the chill of my dog. So far so good, beats the hair dryer or the dryer at the local pet wash.

Problems with the Dryer - DO NOT BUY!!! See picture!
Do NOT buy this dryer!!!! I brought this dryer half a year ago, and I only used it once a month when I give a bath to my dog, which is about 6 times when the problem occurred. You would expect a warranty or refund since the dryer was only brought half a year ago. Also, I have always cleaned the filter at the back of the machine after every use. Recently, I used this Go Pet Club DT-401 dog dryer to blow dry my dog after his bath, and there was this burning smell from the machine after 10 mins. of usage, and my dog's cream colour fur turned black because apparently they were some tiny black particles blown out with the air, which was hard to see until after awhile. The GO Pet Club DT-401 Dog Cat Pet Grooming Hair Dryer is a poor quality product. It is the worst product I ever bought online. The damage to my dog is heartbreaking, an awful experience. and irreversible. I gave my dog a bath immediately and the black colour did not come off his fur, it is like my dog dye his fur from cream to black. A third bath did not removed the blackness either. It is humiliating to post this picture of my dog like this, but I want everyone to see what happens from using this dryer! Do not buy this dryer!
