This is one of the best sewing kits I have ever owned, and the price is also great! It has everything you could need as far as colors, supplies, etc go for your average sewer. I use it to patch clothes and not for anything super crazy, but I have always been able to fix any hole in my clothes with this kit. Very functional and easy to find stuff.

It was more expensive than I’d have liked and it is packed full of stuff I don’t need; however, the thread is really good & even the stuff I don’t is of good quality. I like the variety of needle sizes. Extra buttons & snaps are nice to have. I don’t need this much thread but you’d spend more than the cost of the whole kit to buy them individually. I’ve had small kits but the thread has been of poor quality.

Has everything you could possibly need. I use mine all the time to mend my clothes. So worth the price!

You get a lot of fun stuff in this kit, and it's packed for easy use. As others have said, it's especially good for beginners because it includes plenty of basic gear. I didn't expect to receive great scissors at this price point, and indeed they're nothing to brag about. Good enough, but not great. I hoped to replace the included scissors with scissors I already own and like, but there isn't really room for my better scissors, which are considerably bigger than what came in the kit. The measuring tape is pretty flimsy too, but at least it's there and it works. The thread does look nice, and I love the way it's displayed under the elastic straps. That's worth the price of the kit for me in itself, and when you add the handy selection of needles and other tidbits, it's a good purchase.
