This is just good tomato sauce. For many years the tomatoes I buy from supermarkets, produce stands, whatever, have had no flavor. None. None of them. I’m old enough to remember when this was not so, and tomatoes had flavor, and I liked it. Nothing special about this product other than it has tomato flavor. Very nice fresh flavor. I will use it in any recipe that calls for tomatoes as long as I can get it or something like it.

So many things I love about this! First of course is the flavor. Perfect balance of tomato & basil. Second U.S. this great packaging! My aging hands have trouble opening jars - even with a tool to assist. The box packaging is the perfect solution. Just use scissors. I hope this type of packaging will be used more & more frequently ❤️

I am on my second purchase, so it is rather apparent that I like the sauce. It has a great taste and has the thickness that I like. The only thing that I don't care for is it has a few lumps or pieces of tomatoes that I do not care for, but I simply us a for to break them up. I have tried several pizza sauces and this one is my personal favorite.

If a hard for us to get high quality marinara sauce (or any good pasta sauce). We order another brand in packages of six full-size jars. I was looking for some other good pasta sauce that had a less expensive price for dishes such as lasagna or eggplant Parmesan. All of the other Cola Vita products I’ve purchased were very good, so I chose this one. The smaller size of these packs is a plus if I use it for filling in when the other kind runs out.I was making eggplant Parmesan when the jar of the other sauce emptied. A perfect time to try one of the Cola Vita sauces! Before I poured it into the pan, I smelled and tasted it. It’s very good. Less thick than the other brand, but not watery. When my husband came home and ate dinner, he was also very impressed with it.

I am very happy with the Colavita brand. We could of bought something cheaper but as I have been using the Colavita diced tomatoes for years to make my homemade pasta sauce. The pizza sauce had some large chunks of tomato so I just pureed it to a smooth sauce.

I never do sauce right out of the jar. I have to season it up. No exception here but the overall taste when I’m finished is amazing! I’m Italian and ate a lot of spaghetti, lasagna, etc so at this point when I make it for the family I don’t eat it. This is the first time in probably 2 years I’ve eaten AND enjoyed it!Don’t let the small containers fool you…1-2 go a long way and I add a container of their diced tomatoes and more than enough to go around!Their pastas are out of this world as well as their olive oils!
