I think it is important to explain the brightness complaint some people have described. There is a switch that determines the color temperature of the light. I have ours set to the warmest color, and the light is used in a small, half bathroom. It provides perfect lighting (walls are tan). If the daylight setting were used, it would be far too bright. My preference is for soft light inside a home, and daylight lighting for security outside the home.

I am very pleased with this light. I love the brightness. I installed it in the kitchen. If I had to do it all over again I would have gotten a slightly warmer temperature light for the kitchen, say around 4,100.Easy to install. The only problem was that my house is so very old that it doesn't have an actual junction box in the ceiling...just a hole. So I had to screw right into the plaster. But that wasn't hard.

Looks great and it gives very good lighting. But the installation was not straight forward. The base does not fit the electric box so one screw had to be screwed on the ceiling. The screws are strong, so with one screw the lamp would be OK. However, they should fit well the box. The rest was super easy to install and it looks great.

I recently bought a new house that was built in the 80s and it has all the original fixtures. This light went into the laundry room and made a huge difference. This was a rebox but was all there and works great. The room is nice and bright and modern looking now.

Used this fixture to replace a walk-in closet light. Much better! Bright, clear white light. My wife now says it is easier to tell difference between blue and black sweaters. Highly recommend this fixture. And didn't even take ten minutes to install.

This was so easy to install because it's so lightweight. The adjustable part is inside the shade, so not something you can adjust regularly, but I like that the option is there. It's very clean looking, bright, and a simple design. We have had it for over a year now and it works great!

This light was easy to install. It has brightened up my utility room and pantry. It is really worth the money I paid for it.

These lights are very easy to install in an existing fixture. They take up a minimal amount of space, in a 10x10 room with 8' ceilings, this is very helpful in not making the space look smaller! I have all of these lights set on the 4000K setting (middle of the 3 choices) and find the light output good. I don't have any on dimmer switches so I can't speak to that. A very cheap way to upgrade 17yr old lighting fixtures to a more modern, minimalist style. The lights do get hot after being on for a while, but not so hot as to cause issues yet. So far, the amount of heat output from these appears to be normal. But then again, how often is one physically touching their light fixtures? Right now I have one in the kitchen and two in the hallway and am happy with the products.

Easy to install, looks good and has adjustable light brightness options. Good value.

It looks very cheap and I don't expect it to last long. I like the style.
