From Booklist Larissa Morley is the fourth owner of the Honky Tonk, a small-town Texas beer joint rapidly gaining a reputation for ensuring long and happy marriages to both owners and customers. Hank Wells is a summertime cowboy, visiting his father on Palo Pinto County’s biggest ranch as cover for his secret agenda, discovering Larissa’s weak points. Both have domineering mothers and past histories they’d prefer to forget, so when their assumed personas clash with their parents’ objectives, more than the Honky Tonk is at stake! The third tale in Brown’s sassy contemporary romance series (I Love This Bar, 2010) set at the Honky Tonk continues her homegrown, humorous, country-music-themed stories, with Jo Dee Messina’s popular song running throughout. --Lynne Welch Read more Review "You won't want to miss this boot scootin' contemporary full of sexy cowboys and sassy women. Once again another really good read.
I really enjoy getting lost in the small towns of good friends and thick family that Carolyn Brown creates.Being a native Oklahoman it is so easy to find myself wrapped tightly in Mingus or any of the other small towns in Brown's books. The best part has been the end of each book, although we hate for the story to finish I always walk away with the feeling that I have just received a huge hug. I love a HEA!!Thank you Ms. Brown for all the talent you share with us.Please keep writing them & I will keep buying & reading them. Sounds like a win for both of us. :-)

My Give a Damn's Busted (Honky Tonk Book 3) by Carolyn Brown
I have just finished laughing, crying, and loving m way through another fantastic Carolyn Brown book. As usual, it was a book that I will read several times just to re-live a wonderful time. The entire Honky Tonk series is just great. Ms. Brown writes in a style that puts you right inside the story. That's the kind of read for me. I live right down the road from Mingus Texas, and relate to everything cited. Do yourself a favor, read each of these books and be prepared to fall in love with each!!Lucky for me you don't have to read these in order, you'll just want to meet everyone!!

Great book in this series
Carolyn Brown's books are womderful romantic series books. The Honky Tonk books are excellently written. Be sure to read them in order as they are a progression of the history of the bar known as the Honky Tonk. "I Love This Bar" is the first of the 4 books in this series. Carolyn Brown is one of the finest author's today. She includes humor into an unlikely set of circumstances that create wonderful love stories.

Always a fun read
Larissa and Hank meet by accident in Mingus,Texas.Sparks fly, the chemistry is there. They both have secrets and share more in common than they know.Lots of loveable characters, a kindergarten rodeo, and steamy sex make this book one of my favorites.Makes me want to listen to more country music.
