Too nice
I am a whisky drinker exploring brandy and this is one I love. This is full of flavour and so easy to drink, the bottle was empty in no time, definitely a favourite and made a nice change.

Delicious but expensive.
It is undoubtedly an excellent cognac....but us it worth the cost over other cognacs?? Not in my view!

Nice Borderies
I've had Camus VSOP Borderies and this XO, along with Martell and some obscure small producer borderies... there aren't many in the UK so the field of pure borderies producers available to UK folks is pretty limited. For me, this XO is the best of the bunch... floral, loads of typical borderies and compared to the rest, smooth. For me, I sense it does have colourant and sugar added, but it's not over the top like it is in some brandies. As far as I can tell, there doesn't appear to be boisé - but you can never really be sure if the permitted additives are used in very small quantities. If you're looking to explore the Cognac area of Borderies, start with this version... and if it doesn't float your boat, don't bother exploring others available in the UK... you will just waste money.

Single estate
Je ne suis pas un connaisseur, mais je recommande ce cognac single estate pour son goût rond et équilibré, note vanillée. En anglais on dirait "smooth". Idéale pour mes salades de fruits d'été.Je reste fidèle à la marque Camus. Un autre Camus, plus traditionnel et "épicé", je garde pour le steak au poivre et l'excellent cocktail de la Nouvelle Orléans, le grasshopper.J'anticipe l'occasion rare de déguster ce cognac en solo, comme digestif. Un cognac à savourer longuement.
