I ordered this part with the option "Used - good". The part arrived without instructions. It did not work. I test the washer with another new shifter and works fine. Don't buy this kind of electric parts used.

i don't know much but found a you tube video on diagnosing the need for this part. it went in easy and saved myself a $300 repair bill. if the part does not do the trick easy returns are offered.
