I like the size will hold prescription bottles. Just a general catch all for small storage. Easy to paint and add some vinal to the bottom of the box for protection and easy cleaning.

Okay, this is a Craft Box! For those who don't craft, basically it's a box used for decoupage/decorative use. It is not meant to be super sturdy or to hold heavy things. It's main purpose is to be an item to be built upon, embellished, adorned, bedazzled, whathaveyou. One might be able to surmise by the cost of this product, that this may not be of superior quality. For those who have been disappointed in the lack of assumed value of this box, it may be because it was never intended to be put to every day use. That being said, this was perfect for the project I had at hand. I was making pop art knick knack boxes for my two besties (which they loved, btw) and these fit the bill wonderfully. It was already pre-sanded with a few rough spots here and there but nothing that I couldn't buff out in a few seconds. Yeah, the hinges weren't exactly anything to write home about, but again, this is Craft Box, NOT something meant for practical use. I thought it was great for the price and what I needed it for. For crafting, I definitely recommend.

This is being given as a gift to my great niece. She is going to decorate it herself. She will be using it to keep her"treasures' inside. She is 7. To her treasures are things like feathers she finds, rocks, items that interest her. It will make her happy and make a memory box for her. If your looking for a craft idea for someone this would be a good choice.

I purchased 7-8 of these to use for our groomsmens gifts. My only issue was one came broken, but it was no big deal. I just returned it and ordered another. I stained them, wood-burned each groomsmen’s name on the fronts, shellacked them, and then filled them with some of the groomsmens gifts. They came out so great, everyone thought I bought them and had them professionally done. The boxes are relatively cheap quality, but for what I used them for and for the $3 and change, I can’t complain! I fit a full size men’s tie, a pocket square, a pair of suspenders, cufflinks and a tie clip in there. I just realized now that I didn’t get any pictures off the completed outsides, only the inside, so sorry! The picture I posted is all I’ve got. I’ll update in the future if I can get the groomsmen to send me some pictures.

This is by far the BIGGEST piece of junk I have ever bought! I would not recommend this box to people I dislike. Let's break this down by the good and the bad. The box itself is beautiful. End good. When I bought this box it was with the intent to create a keepsake box for my 50th birthday this year. After more than a year of strict quarantine, because of my severe high risk when it comes to COVID, my son took me to the beach for my birthday. With no one around I was free to take my mask off. I was free to sit there and cry at the beautiful peace I was surrounded by. I was free from the walls that had once been my protection, but ones that quickly turned into my prison.So jar in hand we collected sand, shells and driftwood. I've already made a necklace from my favorite shell. My son had a book made for me, with some of the pictures we took printed on the pages. It took me a minute to find the perfect box. One that spoke to me for my special project. And then I found this one and I new I had found the perfect one.When the box arrived half the screws were barely screwed in, but since I planned to stain the box a gorgeous blue to represent the water, I didn't really care. I carefully removed all the screws, making myself a map of where each one went. I'm OCD and learned that sometimes screws don't always like being put in holes that aren't their original ones.After that the box sat for a few weeks, because I got my COVID shots and they set my Fibro off enough that I wasn't functional enough to do anything but turn the channel on the TV. When I finally felt up to it I carefully stained the box, inside and out, with two coats of my chosen stain.Tonight I decided everything was sufficiently dry to put the screws back in the box. I just spent HOURS trying to put twelve screws in and only managed to get TWO in correctly. The other ten screws will not, NO MATTER WHAT I DO, will either not go all the way in, or the won't go in straight. I've included a few pics, but I promise you in person it looks HORRIBLE. I'm not unused to taking apart things and putting then back together. I've NEVER had the kind of difficulty put screws in something that I did with this box. I've NEVER encountered so many screws on one thing that would not go in correctly. At one point my son decided I was becoming too frustrated and decided to take over. It wasn't long before he too was ready to throw the box against a wall. It is SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE to get these ten out of twelve screws incorrectly.Ultimately I'm stuck with this piece of junk, because I've already stained it. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with this junk. Maybe I'll take the hinges off and throw paperclips in one side. I don't know. More than likely it will wind up in the trash, where it belongs. I should note that calling this a piece of junk really isn't strong enough, but if I use the type of language I'd like to Amazon wouldn't publish my review.Botton line? Save your money and find something better quality than this. In all honesty it won't be difficult. The box Amazon uses to ship this to you would be better quality than this box is. Junk. JUNK. JUNK. If I could I'd give it NEGATIVE stars. JUNK!

I had this laser engraved with our name and dates for our wedding as our ring box, which yes it is big for that, but we glued in padding and it was perfect for holding our special wedding day items.

I do LOVE these boxes!! They are the perfect size and shape, they hold paint pigments very very well while still allowing the natural grain of the wood to show through. These boxes have become a major staple of my business and I have had hours of fun decorating them!Got more of these and made more lovely jewelry boxes and a keepsake box for my son. Had the idea of adding a chain to the inside to keep the lid from flopping open. It worked well but be aware a flimsy chain will not work! Adding more pics!

I needed something to fill some time, I needed a box to put my remotes in, and I wanted it to reflect our geeky and artistic natures. Couldn’t find what I was looking for, so bought a couple of these. Then bought a couple more! You get what you pay for, these aren’t durable. But, they are inexpensive and if they are more art pieces than functional they can really fit the bill. They require sanding for splinter filled edges at times, but that has been the only issue I’ve encouhtered so far. Definitely getting more.

This wooden box is perfect! I am crafting a new jewel box and it is going to be so pretty courtesy of this beautiful wooden box and its metal clasp. This item arrived in great time and perfect condition. Thanks so much for the great wooden box for my creative endeavours and the great bargain.

Don't expect much from this box. It's very thin. Still usable for what I need it for though.

Great little box for my nick-nacks.I gave it a little sanding and stained the surfaces using coffee grounds.
