ScanpanClassic 8" Nonstick Fry Pan 20001204

I didn't buy this skillet for myself but for my 93-year-old dad. Who is honestly the finest northern cook I have been blessed to know for 69 years? Bar none. I wouldn't dare send him a product that I didn't use myself. I have owned the 8" Scanpan now for 4 or5 years and it is still cooking some of the finest food. You would be foolish to pass up purchasing a Scanpan. That would be like passing up an eclipse!!

Simply very good product for non-stick pan.

This brand of cooking pans is the best I have ever found - and I've been cooking for 50 years. If you use the right tools to not scratch the surface, this pan will last for many, many years. If you care for it according to the booklet that comes with it, you will love this pan!

I have had several Scanpans. When new they're unbeatable. After about a year I just throw them away because the non-stick quality has diminished so much. Their lifetime warranty isn't worth a damn cuz it's always the customers fault so they deny replacement. "Oh, you're supposed to wash it within 5 minutes of use" which of course no one does or "You had the heat up too high." Oh gosh, a cooking utensil designed for use on a stove can't withstand flame. If you've got $100/year to have the non-stickiest pan in the world in your kitchen for 12 months, I strongly recommend. I do have that but a lot of folks don't, therefor the 3-star rating.

I have tried so many different non stick pans, but never found one that really worked well. Now I have! These pans are made to be cooked in without oil. I love them. They work so well! They cook and crisp the outside of food without sticking. I use them on lower heat. Potato patties get crispy, but if you dont want your food crispy, just cook it in less time. We are vegan and wanted to be able to cook without oil, but still have crispy foods when desired. These work perfectly and are easy to clean.

The pan is very heavy and slow to warm up but, once warm, heat is very evenly distributed and food cooks perfectly. Eggs do not stick and the even heat cooks sautéed items without burning.

I bought this to quickly cook eggs and to sauté veggies. It works perfectly and I use less oil/butter because of the nonstick. Very easy to clean, none of that stuck on mess soaking for days. I liked it so much I bought the bigger one too.

Never sticks

Really good little frying pan, very easy to clean, brilliant for fried eggs, they just slide off. Bought the bigger size immediately.

Not a big pan, but just right for pancakes.Non-stick and nicely heavy.I would buy the bigger one when I can.
