Enrolled Agent Practice Exams for Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3: 600 Questions for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination

I just passed the last part of the EA exam (part 3) yesterday and I honestly believe that you don’t need any other study material besides this book to pass the EA. I have 5 years of experience as a Tax Consultant which definitely helped but there are so many things that this book covered which I knew nothing about prior to reading it.My only gripe about it are the few typos here and there. You may need to do your own research to some extent for additional clarity for certain cases/tax topics.Overall 10/10, it helped me pass all 3 parts of the EA exam on my first try.

This book is written in an easy to understand and use way. I haven't tried the questions yet as I'm using it with another online study platform. The index makes it easy to find the information you need.

Problems in this book differ from other books of the same series. These are the way closer to what you are actually tested for. Quite a few of them were on my exam- thank God, I got that book right before the test!

The questions are good but the explanations at the end dont really go into the full detail of WHY the answer is correct or explain the broader concepts. Overall, the book is best used as a supplement if you already have some experience in the field.

I love this hard copy because it forces you to focus on all material not just a particular section at a time. Don't be discouraged by lack of chapters or test sections. You don't need that. You will fly through this. Content and test questions are what matters. Laws update but certain things wont change!!! Thank you Bova! Great pairing to online prep. Nice for the price!!!!

26 April 2025 version is not fully updated. Max IRA contribution is 7,000 for 2024, the books gives the wrong answer at $6k which was the limit in 2022 :(Had high hopes!

Very straightforward book. It gives the content outline for each part and goes straight to the questions. Answer key is in the back and it tells you the reason behind the correct answer in a very simple to understand format. Also the customer service is quick to respond. Thanks Bova Books!
