Plans, Purposes, and Pursuits

This is probably the most important book Kenneth E Hagin Sr has written. He brings the believer to a pivotable point in their walk with God - what are you doing in your pursuit of the spiritual matters. He understands where the Church has become worldly and is calling for us to return to our first love, Jesus Christ. This is a very timely book for these last days.

Great book!

Everyone I have been privileged to mentor has read this book. This book saved my life! When the Lord directed me to read it I was contemplating walking away from the call of God on my life. The trials, tests and process taking a toll on me. I knew I had made some mistakes but I was not willing to access my errors and turn. I felt God had let me down. After reading this book I had to repent and change my approach to walking with God. It also gave clarity to the untimely death of four Christians that I knew. They all died very young. Why? They did not walk in answer to the call of God on their life. It allowed the enemy to attack them. My life is given focus and direction thanks to this book.

Brother Hagin was one of the most godly men I have ever known. His life was dedicated to the Word of God. He lived what he preached. This book is one of his most important. In Plans Purposes and Pursuits he shares some revelations that were so important to him that he stated that he would stake his entire ministry on them. He has many,many books in print. His messages and his ministry are legendary. I have never been anywhere in the world where I was not asked if I knew Kenneth Hagin. His ministry has changed literally thousands of lives around the world. I think that the message of this book is crucial to those who want to know and do the will of the Lord in these confusing and tumultuous days. I know of no one else who have lived in this generation who walked with the Lord like Kenneth E. Hagin. Plans, Purposes and Pursuits is a book that every Christian needs to read. Too many Christians are making their own plans and then asking God to bless them. God has a calling(s) for every unique Christian. If we trust the Lord and seek God and His kingdom first instead of leaning to our own understanding, we can find fulfillment in God's gracious plans for us (Ephesians 2:10). Bro. Hagin was humble. He reported his own failures and, through many life experiences and Scriptures and repetition, got his main point across very powerfully. In my view, that main point was to trust in the Lord with all my heart, pray first for God's direction before making any important decision, then obey, being always sensitive to the leadings and promptings of the Holy Spirit and always humble.THIS REVIEW WAS NOT WRITTEN BY HELOISE! Good Book for Spiritual growth, it will create the desire to align with Gods will for your life by the Holy Spirit.

This book is a must have for all believers! It teaches on how to make sure our plans, purposes, and pursuits align with God's plans, purposes, and pursuing those. Great resource!

The reason I purchased this book was because it was one of the last books Kenneth E. Hagin wrote and because it was the last of eight visitations from Jesus he had. I believe Rev. Hagin was one of the most, if not the most prominent prophets in the world in the last 50 to 75 years and this book had to do with what the Lord Jesus deemed the most important things He wanted the Church, the Body of Christ to know before His return and before the "home-going" of Rev.Hagin in 2003. The book is most excellent, as I knew it would be. It is a must read to those who want to draw closer to Jesus, to be more conformed to Him and be more closely related to others in the Body of Christ. P.L.
