What is the warranty period ? Nothing mentioned.

One year period. For that after receiving the item, you have to read their warranty clause and do it online. Only after that warranty is applied.

How does the machine differentiate liquids? For eg. How does it sense 10 ml of water vs 10 ml of oil?

I don't think it differentiates. It weighs not measures.
