It fit, works and was reasonably priced.

Purchased to replace a broken switch. Installed easy and was of the same manufacturer quality.

Fit my very old Kenmore washer. Check the size of your plug and terminal connections, round or flat. There should be a picture of plug end on Web site, but I didn't see it.

Everything was exact but the connector was different. So I used a ul listed butt connector and cut/crimped my old plug on the new harness. The ground wire ring terminal was opposite side of harness of the old one. Screwed a new ground point on the washer using a sell tapping screw. Everything works good.

If your older washer is not spinning or or agitating after the fill cycle, it could be the switch. please be careful and unplug the power. In my case the housing surrounding the terminals came apart and when i reached my hand under there BOY WAS I SURPRISED. I was fine, but it was obvious my switch needed replacing. Swapped it out, harness matches perfectly to my Sears/Kenmore washer, and in 10 minutes I was good to go.

I emplore you to do your due diligence with this product while installing it because it is a SAFETY DEVICE designed to prevent wrapping your arm or hair around the agitator when opening the lid.I just got around to installing the second switch that I purchased from this vendor today. There is no way that this switch will install and never not have continuity between the contacts at the plug.Trust me. I have tried. I tried shorter screws, longer screws, the same screws. Shimming between the panel and the face of the switch and I finally resorted to trimming the plastic that is obviously making contact at the bottom of the top panel (where the interrupt pin is supposed to go).Not even sanding away at the cup where the pin is supposed to sit would allow the contact to break when withdrawing "the pin" (a small screwdriver I was using to trip the switch).Caveat emptor.I am moving on to an OEM part on this one because I have little hands and a wife with a long pony tail that she'd probably like to keep from having torn off.

When my almost 30-year-old washing machine stopped working after being in storage for 25 years, we discovered that it was this part that needed to be replaced. We had gifted the machine to my sis-in-law when her newer machine's computer malfunctioned & would not reset. What a god send to be able to find it on Amazon and have it in 2 days! I think my husband spent 10 minutes installing it. She was grateful to buy time with this inexpensive Fix.
