These seal up great and are a quality product. I've used many of the commie country connectors then switch the these. I Wont be switching any more.

Worked perfectly for what I needed to rewire on my boat. Just make sure you order the correct size for the wire you're working on.

Like being able to stock up on connectors for a very reasonable price.The connectors work as they should. To create good connections with heat shrink connectors, you must use a crimping tool designed for that type of connector. Otherwise, the crimp will fail to hold and/or you will cut the tubing, destroying its integrity. Also, recommend an electric heat gun for best heat control. Ask me how I know all this first hand!Really like the hot glue adhesive inside the heat shrink tubing, helps seal the connection and hold the wire in the terminal.

Good solid connectors with a quality crimping tool. Don't use your Dad's crimpers, get the newer ratcheting style. My only, slight, complaint is price, though they do come in a plastic jar with screw on lid, is higher than I expected for what it is.

So no one makes a properly constructed male and female spade connector set. What this does the best is what I consider most important. That being that it is made of a metal that is thick and quality enough to provide a strong and reliable crimp connection to the wire. All of the others on Amazon at the time of my purchase were super cheap and thin metal that I feared would not stay on. Where this begins to fail is in the shrink tubing. The tubing is too big for it to securely seal around the smaller gauge wire used on the red and blue connectors. The size of shrink tubing is actually identical on all sizes of the connectors. The next problem is that there is no taper to guide your wire into the crimping area. This slows the process and often caused me to have to re twist the wires to attempt to insert it properly multiple times. There are other that have solved that problem. Finally the protective portion of the covering material does not completely encapsulate the male and female sections when connected. There is a small portion of the connector exposed. Other manufacturers have solved this. So in this product category, you have to make a choice... 1. Fully insulated connector that exposes nothing when connected or 2. Use of metal of high enough quality that the crimp and connections can be trusted or 3. Shrink tubing that is appropriate to the wire size or 4. A design that makes it easy to insert the wire. If you find someone who has all or even most of those attributes in a single reasonably priced product, please let me know.

This item is a good fit for appliance work

As an Electrician of 20 years i can honestly say these are the worst crimps i have ever used. Firstly they are not the correct length to grab the cable & secondly the firce required to crimp is so minimal no matter how you crimp them you can just pull them off with your fin gers after. Avoid & buy the standard hard (non heat shrink) insulted crimps. Terrible quality & a fire hazard from arcing.

I have deliberately not given any stars for waterproofing as, so far they haven’t been used in a location where this was required. They seem to be perfectly adequate and I am quite happy with the product and would recommend them to other users

Haven't had the chance to use them yet but look good quality.
