RevolabsFLX UC 1000, IP Conference Phone with USB Support

Over all this is a very high quality speakerphone. The audio out is fantastic. The reason for three stars are as follows:1. The mic pickup is too sensitive and there is no way to turn it down; made for a much larger room, not a huddle room. Support says it's designed for people to be at least 8 or 10 feet away. That's not going to happen n a small room. We tried to use this in a small huddle room 10' x 12'. With one person speaking softly it sounds like they are holding the mic right to there mouth and the room generates a tinny sound like being inside a metal barrel. When more than two people are in the room the thing get so overwhelmed that the other end has requested we turn it off and call using another phone.2. The dial pad keys are a bit stiff. Unlike most conference phones that have a feather touch people are used to, these keys take a pretty good jab of the finger to register a key press. If you have weak fingers you might want to ask some else to dial for you.3. A minor inconvenience: We decided to use the soft phone that come with our zoom room's iPad controller instead of the separate PRI line to the dialer. We should have ordered the FLX UC 500 with no dial pad. However, we used what we had. I still had to run a line to a network jack because the only option for power was POE.Summary: Only use this unit in larger spaces. Support said they are working on a firmware patch to fix this problem, so perhaps in a month or so this will not be an issue. We can only hope.
