Kojic Acid & Glutathione White Soap - Natural Brightening & Hydrating for Facial & Body Cleansing Bar - All Skin Type, 4 Oz

UPDATE AFTER 3 MONTHS OF USE:Note that I use the soap about 3-4 times a week only BUT I'll have to say that my skin tone at overall is 2 shades lighter. I am Asian with some yellow undertone but mostly brown :) The dark spot (almost the size of a penny) on my left cheek faded greatly and is now just a very light brown compared to almost chocolate brown before I started using this soap.As I mentioned in my first review - you have to have patience to make and see this soap work. However, be prepared to continue to use this if you want to keep the improvement you are achieving or wants to see to stay. I use it like a mask on face so I dab the soap with my fingers with some water and apply it on in the morning or before taking a bath. I let it sit there for 1-2 minute still to be consistent with what I started.RECOMMENDATION:_You have to use a sunscreen for face and/or body (if you are using the soap on both)I recommend Palmer's Skin Success Fade Milk lotion for body and its face cream as these are moisturizing enough but don't leave a greasy feel. Both have Vitamin C & E plus Hydroquinone (helps in lightening the skin) as well as sunscreen in them so they help maintain your even skin tone and prevents it from darkening again. These products are working well for me.OLD REVIEW :)First, I'll have to say that this is pricey compared to other products out there promising the same results. For $9+ per bar and for the size of it, it is expensive compared to other products. HOWEVER, there are times when price becomes manageable as long as the product delivers what it promises which is what this soap is doing exactly!Hubby complimented my skin today and said "You're complexion looks brighter and your freckles and dark spots are fading!" - That made me happy as I have been using it for about a week now although not everyday I use this every other day because it is a bit drying on the skin if you use it every day. OR you can opt to use it say mornings only or evenings only. I do not recommend this to be used more than once a day really.Now, let's be realistic for a bit. Every skin whitening or dark spot fading products yield results after 2-4 weeks of regular use. Others, just don't! BUT I have to say that for a good straight week of use of this soap, you'd be able to achieve a result that you would wait 4 months from other soap offering the same benefits. SO THIS IS SUPERIOR in terms of you actually seeing the results of its effective ingredients on your skin in under 2 weeks. For me that is efficient and effective!I also recommend that when you use this soap, use it all over your body so you achieve an even tone all around. You do not want your face to end up too light compared to your neck and arms and entire body.When I use this, I lather the soap with my hand and then rubs it on my face gently. I leave it on for a good 1-2 minutes before rinsing. I find it more effective and you let your skin soak in the whitening ingredients. This helps in optimizing and maximizing the benefits.ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND - when using skin lightening/whitening or bleaching products, make sure you use a body cream or lotion with SPF especially on the arms and neck which are often exposed like our face. For your face, pick a moisturizer for Normal to Dry skin with SPF 15 or higher but labeled as non-comedogenic. Why I recommend this? Because often SPF can cause break-outs. It defeats the purpose of using the soap if you end up having break-outs then eventually result to scars on your face. You do not want new scars when you are working so hard to rid of the old ones! :)Lastly for now, I love the scent. It is not over bearing.

This Soap is Amazing! it removes heavy make up with ease! (except for waterproof mascara-I don't use mascara so can't provide how effective it is on removing this) I usually wear tons of liquid foundation and powder foundation to cover up my flaws and I usually wipe it off first with make up remover wipes but with this soap I can skip that step because it does a very good job at removing all of my face make-up! holy grail! I even use this in cleaning my beauty blender and it effectively removes make up on the sponge as well! where have this been all my life?! I have very sensitive, acne prone skin, but this hasn't caused my skin any irritation at all! I love that it has coconut oil which I think is the reason why it is so effective as a cleanser and also makes it a good barrier to not irritate sensitive skin such as I do! it dries up my pimples and I can somehow see it lightened my previous acne scars, I've been using this for 2x a day and leave it on for 2-3mins for about 4days now but sometimes i just put this and wash right away because if i leave it on for long it on stings! so beware and be careful! Overall, I am so amazed and in love with this soap and will continue using it! great product!

You may want to listen to reviews of others that rave over this soap, and find the reviews on Utube more interesting. However, this soap is a complete waste of time and money. Marie France Kojic Acid soap is far better (even better used along side lactic acid). The only thing I like about this soap is its color and sent. Shouvy soap melts very, very, very quickly almost before your very eyes. I honestly saw no results and I used it three times a day. Take the advice from the one percent ratings they are on point. "This soap make you feel completely ripped off!" Have wonderful day!

I haven't been using long, but I like it. It cleans well and smells delicious! No lightening, but I'm pretty brown so I'm not expecting much. A little pricey, but it's a nice soap.UPDATE: I was wondering why my skin felt as though it was ON FIRE and itching like crazy while in the sun. I use SPF 30 on all exposed areas except for my face because it breaks me out, but my skin still felt tight, hot and itchy. It weirded me out because I'm a medium-brown complexion naturally (think Megan Goode) so I was sure I wasn't fair enough to burn. Well, I did and it was this soap. I have since stopped using. Kojic Acid (hence, ACID) will make your skin extremely sensitive to the sunlight after long-term use. I now use a different soap, but if one is willing to use a heavier SPF cream (think 45 or 50) you may be okay. I don't like the white cast it leaves on my skin.

My skin is not hard to lighten. I saw results immediately. The soap smells great . It smells like grapes. I also lathers very well. My only issues are that it dries out my skin a little and for $10 I think the bar of soap is too small. Also it melts just like the regular Kojic acid soap. I don't think it will last me more than two weeks if it even last that long. I've read other reviews that say it burns their skin and dried our their face. As for me it did dry my face , hands and feet out the most but I had no burning nor irritation and I do have very sensitive skin. As for the rest of my body I didn't really have any issues with it being drying to the rest of my body. I use exfoliating gloves every time I shower so my effects that it gave me might be different than others. I also exfoliate every rime I shower. i decided not to use my exfoliating gloves on my feet, face and hands with this soap because it helps with retaining the moisture in my skin that the soap strips from it. I recommend if you use this soap to only use the bar of soap by itself to bath and nothing else, it will help with the retention of moisture in your skin.

I was very sceptical about trying this because, I might have a bad reaction or it might burn, I don’t want to lightening my skin I just want an even tone. Put since using this product I have had no problems with this for myself. This is the second time I am buying this product and for me it has worked really well. My skin is slowly clearing and I love it. It does dry my skin out a bit sometimes but I make sure I oil my skin thoroughly after, which Gives it a lovely glow. It smells nice as well. I have left it on for a few minutes every now and again and it has not burnt my skin.This product it not a quick fix, but it does work over time it’s been a over a month since I have been using it and my dark marks are disappearing. I will continue to buy this product, not happy about the price but I am happy about the results and how it makes my skin feel smooth

Amazing soap

It takes a bit of time to see the great results... Its really enhanced the beauty of my skin and it has lightened up all the dark places... I use it twice in one bath and second time I leave it on skin to absorb.My bum r brighter so is my inner thighs much as I have been concentrating much.i love this soap... Just its so expensive for a tablet.

The soap smells really nice but that is because fragrance is listed near the top. Additionally, the description claims that it had almond oil and coconut oil, but that is not listed in the ingredients nor is it that moisturizing. It also has artificial coloring which is unnecessary. And the active ingredients: kojic acid and glutathione are last meaning they are in smallest amounts added to the bar. I tried it already and it is nice, however, for the price I do not think I will purchase again as the amount of the active ingredients may not make a noticeable difference.

Brilliant soap really leaves my skin exfoliated smooth and squeaky clean I use it all over the body and it’s unlike anything else I’ve ever used as it’s very effective. Also fades pigmentation slowly but surely. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it dissolved quickly if left in water and doesn’t last that long for the price. It is quite expensive.And can’t use it too often on the face as it dries it out. But for The body it’s great.
